LUNAR OCCULTATION OF SATURN:

This morning, along a path of totality stretching from South America to Europe, sky watchers saw the full Moon swallow Saturn. The lunar occultation lasted more than 45 minutes and produced some very rare photos of ringed Saturn near the cratered edge of the Moon. Browse the gallery!

Saturn is the planet of limitation, restriction, and mastery and spends about two and a half years in each sign. During this period, and especially at the beginning, when Saturn is in the early degrees, the characteristics of that sign are emphasized. With Saturn in Pisces, one might feel the pull to reflect on and even to experience oneness with the divine. Your emotions are idealistic, while your mood vacillates and is not entirely your own. Your receptive nature is so enhanced that it is possible for you to take on the moods and emotions of others. There is a nebulous quality to this 6, and it might be difficult for you to even define what you feel. All you know for sure is that your sensitive awareness and ability to feel deeply and compassionately is almost all-encompassing. You might have to be careful not to drown in all this empathy.
