People can sense Earth’s magnetic field, brain waves suggest

A new study hints that humans have magnetoreception abilities, similar to some other animals.

A new analysis of people’s brain waves when surrounded by different magnetic fields suggests that people have a “sixth sense” for magnetism.

Birds, fish and some other creatures can sense Earth’s magnetic field and use it for navigation (SN: 6/14/14, p. 10). Scientists have long wondered whether humans, too, boast this kind of magnetoreception. Now, by exposing people to an Earth-strength magnetic field pointed in different directions in the lab, researchers from the United States and Japan have discovered distinct brain wave patterns that occur in response to rotating the field in a certain way.

These findings, reported in a study published online March 18 in eNeuro, offer evidence that people do subconsciously respond to Earth’s magnetic field — although it’s not yet clear exactly why or how our brains use this information.

“The first impression when I read the [study] was like, ‘Wow, I cannot believe it!’” says Can Xie, a biophysicist at Peking University in Beijing. Previous tests of human magnetoreception have yielded inconclusive results. This new evidence “is one step forward for the magnetoreception field and probably a big step for the human magnetic sense,” he says. “I do hope we can see replications and further investigations in the near future.”

During the experiment, 26 participants each sat with their eyes closed in a dark, quiet chamber lined with electrical coils. These coils manipulated the magnetic field inside the chamber such that it remained the same strength as Earth’s natural field but could be pointed in any direction. Participants wore an EEG cap that recorded the electrical activity of their brains while the surrounding magnetic field rotated in various directions.

This setup simulated the effect of someone turning in different directions in Earth’s natural, unchanging field without requiring a participant to actually move. (Complete stillness prevented motor-control thoughts from tainting brain waves due to the magnetic field.) The researchers compared these EEG readouts with those from control trials where the magnetic field inside the chamber didn’t move.

Joseph Kirschvink, a neurobiologist and geophysicist at Caltech, and colleagues studied alpha waves to determine whether the brain reacts to changes in magnetic field direction. Alpha waves generally dominate EEG readings while a person is sitting idle but fade when someone receives sensory input, like a sound or touch.

Sure enough, changes in the magnetic field triggered changes in people’s alpha waves. Specifically, when the magnetic field pointed toward the floor in front of a participant facing north — the direction that Earth’s magnetic field points in the Northern Hemisphere — swiveling the field counterclockwise from northeast to northwest triggered an average 25 percent dip in the amplitude of alpha waves. That change was about three times as strong as natural alpha wave fluctuations seen in control trials.

Curiously, people’s brains showed no responses to a rotating magnetic field pointed toward the ceiling — the direction of Earth’s field in the Southern Hemisphere. Four participants were retested weeks or months later and showed the same responses.

“It’s kind of intriguing to think that we have a sense of which we’re not consciously aware,” says Peter Hore, a chemist at the University of Oxford who has studied birds’ internal compasses. But “extraordinary claims need extraordinary proof, and in this case, that includes being able to reproduce it in a different lab.”

Questions raised

If these findings are able to be replicated, they pose several questions — such as why people seem to respond to downward- but not upward-pointing fields. Kirschvink and colleagues think they have an answer: “The brain is taking [magnetic] data, pulling it out and only using it if it makes sense,” Kirschvink says.

Participants in this study, who all hailed from the Northern Hemisphere, should perceive downward-pointing magnetic fields as natural, whereas upward fields would constitute an anomaly, the researchers argue. Magnetoreceptive animals are known to shut off their internal compasses when encountering weird fields, such as those caused by lightning, which might lead the animals astray. Northern-born humans may similarly take their magnetic sense “offline” when faced with strange, upward-pointing fields.

This explanation “seems plausible,” Hore says, but would need to be tested in an experiment with participants from the Southern Hemisphere.

The brain’s attention to counterclockwise but not clockwise rotations “is something surprising that we don’t really have a good explanation for,” says coauthor Connie Wang, who studies magnetoperception at Caltech. Some people may respond to clockwise rotations, just like some people are left-handed rather than right-handed, or clockwise rotations generate brain activity not captured in the alpha wave signal, she says.

Even accounting for which magnetic changes the brain picks up, researchers still don’t know what our minds might use that information for, Kirschvink says. Another lingering mystery is how, exactly, our brains detect Earth’s magnetic field. According to the researchers, the brain wave patterns uncovered in this study may be explained by sensory cells containing a magnetic mineral called magnetite, which has been found in magnetoreceptive trout as well as in the human brain (SN: 8/11/12, p. 13). Future experiments could confirm or eliminate that possibility.

With this first compelling evidence that humans are subconsciously processing magnetic signals, “we can [try to] identify the brain region it originates from and try to identify the nature of the cells” responsible, says Michael Winklhofer, a magnetoreception researcher at the University of Oldenburg in Germany. “This is really the first step.”

Our brains might sense Earth’s magnetic field just like birds do

What do birds and bees, worms and wolves, fruit flies and fish all have in common? The answer: a magnetic sense that helps them navigate. Now it seems we might do as well.

Joseph Kirschvink at the California Institute of Technology in the US and colleagues found that altering the directions of nearby magnetic fields caused temporary changes in human brain activity.

While sitting still in a dark room, participants’ brain activity was recorded using electroencephalography (EEG), while electromagnetic coils were used to create magnetic fields.

The experiment mimicked the magnetic field changes we are subject to when we move about in the real world, says Kirschvink.

The direction and intensity of Earth’s magnetic field varies by geographical location. For example, at the magnetic north pole, one of two poles where the magnetic field is the strongest, the direction of the field points vertically downwards, into the ground.

In the wider northern hemisphere, this vertical angle changes but the magnetic field is always skewed downwards – meaning that when you hold a compass horizontally, the end pointing north is slightly pulled down. The south-pointing end of some compasses in the northern hemisphere are weighted to compensate for the pull.

Brain change

When the team exposed people to a downward-pointing magnetic field, they saw changes in brain wave patterns when they rotated the field horizontally in a counterclockwise direction .

The team measured alpha waves – present when we are awake but relaxed and with closed eyes – before and after a 100 millisecond change in magnetic field, and found a drop in amplitude in the waves in some people following the rotation.

But no participants showed brain changes when the magnetic field was rotated clockwise, a finding the researchers can’t explain.

Rotating an upwards-pointing magnetic field didn’t cause a change either, which the team speculates may be because the participants’ brains were attuned to the magnetic field of the northern hemisphere, where they conducted the study. Earth’s magnetic field always points up in the southern hemisphere.

I’ve watched three quarters of this video and I don’t agree with all of it; their perspective on dimensions or the body.

The Reverse, Backward Movement of the Harmonic in the Psi Bank

What you see above are 8 Tzolk’in Harmonics, 4 facing up, 4 facing down but diagonal from each other. Look at the ones on the bottom. Red 1 Dragon, kin#1 is in the bottom right. If you turned it right side up it would look just like the top harmonics. This shows how they are processed through the Psi bank like computer code. This is from Earth Ascending page 149.

It’s a type of mirroring in synchronicity with today’s theme; White 11 Spectral Mirror. I started on this idea yesterday wondering about what was really happening with mRNA reverse transcriptase that Bruce Lipton was talking about in his video that I posted a few days ago. Listen to it again. He says that the DNA Dogma taught that the DNA only moved in one direction. That’s not the case once you understand mRNA reverse transcriptase and that speaks DIRECTLY to Tzolkonic Movement and current epigenetic claims of being able to program your own DNA by going backward. Or, as I’m suggesting in my book based on research, past to present or future to present AS TIME IN YOUR BODY/MIND. Nobody knows that yet but me and my followers. Earth Ascending was written in 1984 before anyone understood Epigenetics.

You can see the backward movement in this image. The bottom four harmonics are upside down. That’s a #20 along the left side and #13 across the top; 20 tribes of time or 20 A.A. and 13 Tones of Creation.

I’m studying this in alignment with three locations on the ribosome of the double helix that is added to the A.A. sequence: A site, P site, and E site. Once the RNA picks a site it’s copied into the helicase BACKWARD as fast as a jet plane. It’s shown in a couple videos I have, and I’ve posted it on here before. The scientists have seen the actual movement, but they don’t know what causes it…of course.

Then it goes to the mysterious Kinetochore where eventually it’s turned into a chromosome and then a nuclear pore with a nuclear membrane that breaks apart. I’ve watched the process several times.

Back to the ribosome, it comes from the mRNA (messenger RNA which is being utilized by the CV2 vaccine makers to program our RNA with God knows what. The mRNA moves like a computer program through the ribosome, through a few more steps, until it’s turned into tRNA or transfer RNA.

What are the three types of mRNA?

mRNA (messenger RNA): Produced during transcription.
rRNA (ribosomal RNA): Together with proteins, composes the ribosome, the organelles that are the site of protein synthesis.
tRNA (transfer RNA): Brings the correct amino acid to the ribosome during translation.

Once again, it seems to me the Tzolkin Harmonic Theme-plex is the tRNA that brings the correct amino acid to the ribosome during translation. Of course, all of this is dynamic evolution though and is never the same so that’s where the patterns I’ve observed come in such as the occult partner (your mother’s DNA) and the alpha and omega point placement. It’s not simple. In addition, the function of the G.A. P. kin is epic. That’s in the book as well.

I hate to tell the scientists this but none of it can be controlled. 98% of evolution is beyond any human or stellar species control. People experiment with it but I for one am not convinced that’s terribly wise. It depends on what they’re doing. Natural evolution is not the same, by far, as genetic experimentation on different species.

My point is the reverse transcriptase happens through the mRNA whose action is in synchronicity with the movement of the harmonic in the Psi Bank.

I need my followers to internalize this info and pass it around, as well as meditate.

Corpus Callosum means the DNA of our Bodies in Latin. It also a literal tissue in our brains down the center where the two parts of our brain are connected. The primary Radiosonic Template is probably us as well as seen by the Hertz frequency in the Psi Bank.

I’m looking at pages 102 and 103 in Earth Ascending if you have the book. We are about to enter Hexagram 17; HF51 on Tuesday, 8/22/23, which is a major radiosonic pulse. My read on this harmonic is We are going into Stage II-CONCURRENT Aboriginal Prehistoric and AC Aboriginal Generative.

The short of that is we are pulsing IN TIME, from within and above the earth on future to present prehistoric memory tracks and Future to present to generate a NEW FUTURE track. We are remembering our fabulous ancient medicine from our ancestors at this moment and using the memory to create a new future timespiral line that suits us. Read that over a few times, please.

“History represents a break away from the primal pattern, completing the southern or lower template what was only suggested in the upper template. The pulse lines are like the etheric body that I work with all the time in my office. They create your aura which is light emanation from your electromagnetic body. It’s just like the AURORAS (aura) around the earth when the mind of EARTH is pulsing in synchrony with all life on Earth.

Our bodies are the cauldron of transformation of TIME in all dimensions, time manifested as DNA. All DNA on earth is in a cauldron or transformation of TIME. That’s what we’re doing here. It’s magic, and we’re playing with universe energies as co-creators. It’s supposed to be fun. Not toxic Luciferian gross freaky suffering and usage.

Continuing on page 102-The Alpha and Omega points that I note on here and on the True Time Update are on the same longitude as the corpus callosum of history,

“The hieratic longitude is signified by the Great Pyramid in Egypt. Once the process of hominization has been completed, the CA template woven altogether, the “end” of history is reached. How to Read the Schumann Resonance

The ScR has changed in the last year. It’s leveled up steadily to alpha Hz daily instead of 7.83 theta. It usually goes as high as 8.50. The human race needs to collectively get up to 9.00 by the end of the year, IMO.

We’re not intelligent enough to create healthy boundaries on AI and Luciferian governments until we’re smarter and less emotional. We have big decisions to make. It doesn’t help that on all social media platforms the negative whiners, political screamers, and superficials dominate because they bring in more ad revenue. People who meditate and live holistic lives definitely need to have communities. It seems like X would like get us off the main threads because we are the minority.

**At the top are the time zones in Russia and my local EST. They are 11 hours ahead of Michigan.**

The top spectrogram is a simple compilation of both amplitude and frequency for those who don’t want to read a graph. However, it only shows changes. It doesn’t show what is happening in the moment at all. So, on my posts, I defer to the frequency graph first and the amplitude of the frequency, which is SOUND.
Amplitude level is on the left side of the graph. The date is on top. The time is on the bottom. O is midnight, the numbers go forward every 2 hours, 12 is noon and it goes into the night.
At midnight, the gateway clicks the time sprocket to the new day or gateway, and the time changes, which is the tRNA amino acid sequence in the trillion cells of all DNA. It’s evolution in our bodies, NOT THE CLOCK. Nature programs us via the sun, NOT MACHINES. Here we have the cause of the time warp.
OUR BODIES SET THE TONE AND RHYTHM IN CONCERT WITH NATURE, NOT MACHINES.
The higher the amplitude, the stronger the frequency is zapping our brains and putting us to sleep. It’s like ScR sickness. Your immune system is taxed if you’re older bc your brain came onto the planet in theta Hz. The young kids came onto earth ready for Alpha Hz, so they’re smarter.

The frequency is the level of Hz ELM also on the left, date on top, and time on the bottom. The daily average is 8.20.
The QFactor has to do with ELM in the lower cavities of the earth. The gist is, if it’s flat it’s not positive. It’s it’s moving up and down and more dynamic its a good thing.
The Schumann resonance is very vast above the earth, 4 layers and create the Auroras. Those light are the color spectrum of the Tzolkin.

Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end as the key to gender balance

In the Tzolkin Harmonic, the alpha and omega points to pulsing on the DNA sequencing are pivotal, literally. In the harmonic, THERE IS NO LINEAR ALPHA AND OMEGA. It’s the lemniscate, the number 8, the infinity symbol POINTING US TO THE AXIS OF THE ETERNAL PRESENT in the body as the CNS, brain, and spinal cord.

Women and men swap their alpha and omega roles by pivoting in the lemniscate, via the DNA strands, past, and future. In the center is infinity FOR BOTH, female and male.

On the Mayan intergalactic star map, we have alpha female galaxy and omega male galaxy. That doesn’t mean alpha and beta, leader and then weaker, A >>>>>B. That’s dumb linear thinking. The universe functions on an infinite DNA spiral represented by the GAP kin in the middle of the harmonic.

This next year is going to be about gender balance of opportunity for female and male. The issue will really start to be resolved.

We have an Odd ScR Situ-Ed Level 1

We are in a very active binary resonance phase from HF30 to HF36. Time is literally TWISTING in collective DNA. At the end of HF 35, we hit Yellow 10 Planetary Sun, which ends the 20-day cycle, which is the Axis of the Eternal Present or Timelessness. It creates magic and eternity as ONE with time moving. Human DNA has this energy bc of our evolution.

I’m not sure about other DNA, but we don’t have to atrophy and die. We can just leave and go somewhere else when we’re done on earth. Old age death is not necessary at all. Yellow Sun is the stop codon in the DNA sequence, so this is a status report to the galactic center.

Don’t let anyone in esoteric or ET fields tell you we are on a TIMELINE. They are incorrect and don’t understand biology, physics, and geomancy. Time is not linear on a line, and our language needs to reflect that.

Our current time is a dualistic spiral. As we move to HF 35 tomorrow, we come upon Blue 9 Storm, which is solar tryptophan. If you read spaceweather, that is exactly what is happening with the sunspot and the lightning.

All of this is about evolving our DNA. It’s that simple. The earth and local system are our parental home as star children, and they are helping us grow up! What so many humans resist is that they love us. No family is perfect, not even in the universe, but it is set up to be nurturing for the most part, and we see that predominantly in nature. It’s not the exception. It’s the rule.

UNSTABLE SUNSPOT: What are the odds of looking at the sun and catching a sunspot in mid-flare? Actually, the odds are pretty good when the sunspot is AR3335. The active region has an unstable ‘beta-gamma’ magnetic field that has it teetering on the edge of an eruption.

Yesterday, amateur astronomer Richard Schrantz of Nicholasville, Kentucky, experienced the phenomenon firsthand:

“I was able to see a flare rapidly develop from nothing to maximum in about 45 seconds,” says Schrantz. “It was just a C4 but I thought it looked even bigger.”

Indeed, bigger flares may be in the offing. The sunspot poses a threat for strong M-class eruptions. NOAA forecasters say there is a 30% chance of M-class flares on June 18th. Any flares from this sunspot will be geoeffective as it is almost directly facing Earth. Solar flare alerts: SMS Text

100 LIGHTNING BOLTS: When you see lightning, run! That’s what NOAA advises in lightning safety brochures. Photographer Uğur İkizler did not heed this warning on June 16th when a massive thunderhead rolled over Mudanya, Turkiye. Standing his ground, he captured an epic display:

“This merged view shows all of the lightning that occured during a 50 minute period just before local midnight,” says İkizler.

There were more than 100 bolts — cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-ground, cloud-to-water — strafing the shore and surrounding waters with surges of electricity measuring more than 30 thousand amps. Each bolt carved a scorching-hot path through the atmosphere, heating the air to 30,000 degrees Celsius, about 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun.

We may need to confront the areas of our lives where reality isn’t measuring up to our ideals. Until we find ways to incorporate more spirit into our lives, there can be problems with feeling motivated.It can be a time of increased spiritual awareness and vision, even if we initially struggle with this.
There may be detours or distractions to deal with now.
Ideally, we come up with ideas for refueling, and this new energy is more authentic and fulfilling.
