YET ANOTHER X-FLARE: Sunspot AR3664 (a.k.a. AR3697) has decayed, but it is still potent. On May 31st it emitted another X-flare (X1.1), the third this week. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured the extreme ultraviolet flash:
Radiation from the flare ionized the top of Earth’s atmosphere, briefly causing a shortwave radio blackout over the Pacific side of North America. Signals below 30 MHz faded for as much as 30 minutes after the flare’s peak (May 31st @ 2203 UT).
The flare, while intense, was too brief to lift a significant CME out of the sun’s atmosphere. SOHO coronagraph images show no solar storm clouds heading for Earth.
What makes a decaying sunspot like AR3664 so active? This magnetic map provides the answer:
Within the sunspot’s primary core, two oppositely-signed magnetic poles are crowded together, + vs. -. (Just like the Tzolkin Harmonic and our DNA-same thing) When this happens, magnetic recombination(Tone 1 in the magnetosphere QFactor Layer) can cause very powerful explosions even from a sunspot that’s falling apart. SPACE WEATHER BALLOON DATA: Almost once a week, Spaceweather.com and the students of Earth to Sky Calculus fly space weather balloons to the stratosphere over California. These balloons are equipped with sensors that detect secondary cosmic rays, a form of radiation from space that can penetrate all the way down to Earth’s surface. Our monitoring program has been underway without interruption for 7 years, resulting in a unique dataset of in situ atmospheric measurements.

What’s going on? Ironically, the radiation drop is caused by increasing solar activity. Solar Cycle 25 has roared to life faster than forecasters expected. The sun’s strengthening and increasingly tangled magnetic field repels cosmic rays from deep space. In addition, solar coronal mass ejections (CMEs) sweep aside cosmic rays, causing sharp reductions called “Forbush Decreases.” The two effects blend together to bring daily radiation levels down.
.Who cares? Cosmic rays are a surprisingly “down to Earth” form of space weather. They can alter the chemistry of the atmosphere, trigger lightning, and penetrate commercial airplanes. According to a study from the Harvard T.H. Chan school of public health, crews of aircraft have higher rates of cancer than the general population. The researchers listed cosmic rays, irregular sleep habits, and chemical contaminants as leading risk factors. A number of controversial studies (#1, #2, #3, #4) go even further, linking cosmic rays with cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death.
(So when you see reports saying that solar activity and the hertz ELM levels in the magnetosphere won’t affect you physically, they are lying. NASA I think, says they don’t. NOAA is not the same as NASA. They work together but basically, NASA is the Feds and they keep secrets from humanity big time. NOAA doesn’t.)
Technical notes: The radiation sensors onboard our helium balloons detect X-rays and gamma-rays in the energy range 10 keV to 20 MeV. These energies span the range of medical X-ray machines and airport security scanners.
Data points in the graph labeled “Stratospheric Radiation” correspond to the peak of the Regener-Pfotzer maximum, which lies about 67,000 feet above central California. When cosmic rays crash into Earth’s atmosphere, they produce a spray of secondary particles that is most intense at the entrance to the stratosphere. Physicists Eric Regener and Georg Pfotzer discovered the maximum using balloons in the 1930s and it is what we are measuring today.
This is on top today because it’s the most important message.

EARTH-DIRECTED X-FLARE AND CME: Old sunspot AR3664 isn’t as big as it used to be, but it is still very active. On May 29th (1437 UT), it produced an X1.4-class solar flare:

A pulse of extreme ultraviolet radiation produced a deep shortwave radio blackout over the Americas. Ham radio operators may have noticed loss of signal at all frequencies below 30 MHz for 60 to 90 minutes following the onset of the flare.
This explosion was remarkable for its duration. The X-class phase alone lasted more than an hour–plenty of time to lift a CME out of the sun’s atmosphere. Indeed, SOHO coronagraphs have detected a bright CME emerging from the blast site. NOAA models suggest it will reach Earth during the late hours of May 31st (around 2200 UT), delivering a glancing blow strong enough to spark a G2-class geomagnetic storm. Solar flare alerts:SMS Text
That means all life on the surface was affected by the sun, it stands to reason.This is a no-brainer. Unless you don’t consider yourself alive, even though you are. Humans are electromagnetic inherently.-L.T.
(In my office, my QI pen won’t operate unless I have my hand on the patient’s body while holding the pen. That proves it. We all have natural electromagnetism in our bodies, give it off and draw it in when it’s rife in the ambient air around us as it was during the solar storm.)

Across the USA on May 10th and 11th, sky watchers marveled at bright displays of aurora borealis during the biggest geomagnetic storm in decades. Little did they know, something was also happening underfoot. (Not just underfoot. Why would it just be underfoot?)
Strong electrical currents were surging through rocks and soil (all life if you bother to check). The biggest voltages along the US eastern seaboard and in the Midwest were as much as 10,000 times normal. A map from NOAA and the US Geological Survey shows some of the ‘hot spots’ during the early hours of May 11th:
Back in March 1989, voltages only a little stronger than the ones shown above brought down the entire Hydro-Québec power system. The resulting Great Québec Blackout plunged millions of Canadians into darkness.
This time, however, power grids stayed up. “We haven’t heard of any serious problems so far,” reports Christopher Balch of NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center.
Balch leads an effort at NOAA to model geoelectric fields during solar storms. The map, above, is a snapshot from a real-time display that takes into account the 3D conductivity of the Earth and ongoing geomagnetic activity. A computer at the Space Weather Prediction Center crunches the data to produce minute-by-minute estimates of electricity in the ground.
“I started working on this in 2011 after a NOAA Space Weather Workshop where representatives from the power industry asked for a geoelectric field model,” recalls Balch. “It’s a collaboration between NOAA, the US Geological Survey and others; we now have a version that covers much of Canada and the United States.”

When researchers talk about geoelectric fields they use units of volts per km (V/km). Earth’s crust naturally contains quiet-time fields measuring as little as 0.01 V/km. During geomagnetic storms, these values skyrocket.
“On May 10-11, geoelectric amplitudes exceeded 10 V/km in Virginia and 9 V/km in the upper Midwest,” says Jeffrey Love, a key member of the collaboration at the USGS. “These are very high. For comparison, we estimate that geoelectric amplitudes reached almost 22 V/km in Virginia during the March 1989 storm.”
This means the May 2024 storm was, electrically speaking, about half as intense as the storm that blacked out Québec 35 years ago. That’s too close for comfort. “Although power companies have taken measures to improve the resilience of their systems, no one would welcome another storm as intense as that of March 1989,” says Love.

HOW THE DNA DOUBLE HELIX WORKS
An RNA template strand comes out of it. Each rung of the ladder is called a base pair. There are about 3 billion base pairs that make up the genome. There are 30,000 genes. Each cell has 23 pairs of chromosomes. They thread around a spool as in torsion.
Transcription factors bind open DNA and can recruit other proteins such as enzymes.
RNA polymerase; DNA reads and transcribes DNA into RNA.
The single strand RNA copies the A, C, T, and G (Adenine, Cytosine, Thymine, Guanine and Uracil; the nucleotides) of the mRNA
It carries it out of the nucleus to the ribosome. This is for the production of the particular protein that this gene codes for.
There can be millions of ribosomes in a typical eukaryotic cell
These complex cells use the RNA copy of the gene for info. to assemble amino acid building blocks into the 3D proteins that are essential for life. The ribosome has two subunits, one large and one small. These subunits assemble around the mRNA. The mRNA then passes through the ribosome like a computer tape.
The amino acid building blocks are carried into the ribosome attached to SPECIFIC transfer RNA. They are attached to the glob of tRNA.
The small subunit of the ribosome positions the mRNA. It enables the mRNA to be read in groups of 3 letters. These groups are known as a codon.
Each codon on the mRNA matches a corresponding anticodon on the base of a transfer RNA molecule.
The larger subunit of the ribosome removes each AA and joins it onto the glowing protein chain.
As the mRNA is ratcheted through the ribosome the mRNA sequence is translated into an AA sequence (the Tzolkin themeplexes)
There are 3 locations inside the ribosome designated A, P, and E site
The addition of each AA is a 3-step cycle.
#1. RNA enters the ribosome at the A site and is tested for a codon, anticodon, match with the mRNA
#2. If there is a match, the tRNA moves to the P site. The AA it carries is added to the end of the AA chain.
The mRNA is also stuck on 3 nucleotides or 1 codon.
#3-the spent tRNA is moved to the E site and then ejected from the ribosome to be recycled.

In the helicase, it’s copied backward. It moves as fast as a jet engine looping and coiling leading to chromosomes.

Clear as mud? I just thought the 3D facts should be recorded here even though the synchronicity of it is magical.
That is 20 kin out of 260 that don’t exist to earth. I am cosmic tone 13, and I know a few tone 13 kin. We are outliers and aren’t understood well by others. It is as though we don’t exist in the community.
I just did it quickly. The tribe numbers that land on tone 13 in this order are on the bottom.
I simply went from one tone 13 to the next and noted the tribe number, vertically of course.
My intuition told me to do the math. Calculate the difference in vibration between each tribe. It was either 7 or 13, resonant or cosmic. Amazing. Numbers are VIBRATION.
There is a lack of resonance with the cosmic frequency in the Schumann Resonance. There is a fourth belt that they don’t see. It’s simple. It is a MACHINE taking readings. Our machine computer code is binary 12:60. None of our tools are programmed to the correct timing coordinate 13:20, so all of our scientific readings, all of our money, everything our human tools read, IS WRONG or partial.
I knew this. Maybe you do too, but it’s damn depressing on this planet to be tone 13 and not exist.
The remedy is for NASA to expand the Van Allen Probe Project again. Or call it the Townsend Cosmic Probe Project.
Humans are 55% plasma and 45% blood. Whoa. The sun is plasma, so we are 55% a little sun made of stardust. And we need the sun to keep our plasma dominant. I have never… heard anyone say this. Most people don’t even know what plasma is.
I’m saying it.
Four States of Matter
Gas, liquid, solid… PLASMA. Humans are all of those, but plasma is considered unstable because the electrons are flying wildly around the DNA nucleus like lightning. That sounds like fun to me. That is how humans are, too.
Plasma is a comprehensive conduit as a state of matter to merge evolving RNA with our tools. Both RNA and plasma are unstable, wild, and evolving. The scientists hate it. I love it, but I’m not a control freak. Firm with boundaries for the wild children, yes, but freedom always.
It works perfectly with humans because we are 98% evolving RNA. In addition, we are made of mostly H2O, mostly hydrogen, which is the most abundant neutral gas in the universe. It’s electrically conductive because we have ELM in us. We wouldn’t be charged if water didn’t conduct ELM. We’re made of stardust, which would be plasma dust. The sun is plasma, hydrogen, and helium. Our blood is part plasma and hemoglobin.
The magnetosphere is plasma, and so is the sun or at least raw solar wind. Can AI merge with plasma? Idk. It could get dangerous.
Plasma is the most abundant form of ordinary matter in the universe, mostly in stars (including the Sun), but also dominates the rarefied intracluster medium and intergalactic medium. Plasma can be artificially generated, for example, by heating a neutral gas such as hydrogen or subjecting it to a strong electromagnetic field.
But most people don’t even know what plasma is. It’s never talked about.
When the frequency of an applied field lies in the range of radio waves, only the electrons can follow the electric field, whereas the ions remain at rest. These electrons collide with the gas atoms/molecules and ionize them to generate plasma. Such plasma sources are called RF plasma sources.
At rest, the human body generates an average of 100 watts of output. During sports activities, it reaches 300 to 400 watts. That’s the equivalent of burning 2,000 calories a day. Or, from a different perspective, the energy used by an LED floodlight over a 24-hour period.-Aug 29, 2023

RARE SOUTH PACIFIC AURORAS CONFIRM ‘GREAT STORM’: On the south Pacific island of New Caledonia, no one expects to see auroras. Ever. Situated about halfway between Tonga and Australia, the cigar-shaped island is too close to the equator for Northern or Southern Lights. Yet on May 10, 2024, this happened:
“I have rarely been so happy when taking a photo!” says Frédéric Desmoulins, who photographed the display from Boulouparis in the island’s south province. “I could see the red color of the auroras with my naked eye. According to the New Caledonian Astronomy Society, these photos are the first for this territory.”
“The auroral visibility from New Caledonia is really unique and extremely valuable,” says Hisashi Hayakawa, a space weather researcher at Japan’s Nagoya University. “As far as we know, the last time sky watchers saw auroras in the area was during the Carrington Event of Sept. 1859, when auroras were sighted from a ship in the Coral Sea.”
Hayakawa specializes in historical studies of great auroral storms. He tries to go back in time as far as possible. The problem is, magnetometers and modern sensors didn’t exist hundreds or thousands of years ago. Instead, he looks for records of aurora sightings in old newspapers, diaries, ships logs, even cuneiform tablets. Great Storms are identified by their low latitude–anything with naked-eye auroras below 30° MLAT (magnetic latitude).
“May 10th was definitely a Great Storm,” declares Hayakawa. “Naked-eye auroras sightings in New Caledonia (MLAT = -26.4°) and Puerto Rico (MLAT = 27.2°) confirm this in both hemispheres.”
In fact, it is among the top 20 Great Storms of the past 500 years. The above timeline from a research paper by Hayakawa has been modified to display the May 10th event. It is the green dot on the far-right end of the timeline.
This isn’t just an arcane historical curiosity. “We need to know about Great Storms of the past to understand how big storms might become today,” explains Hayakawa. “Our modern technological society depends upon it.”

Because the sunspot is behind the edge of the solar disk, the flare was partially eclipsed. It was probably even stronger than it appeared. “X8.7″ is almost certainly an underestimate of the flare’s true strength.

AURORAS OVER THE GRAND CANYON: You know a solar storm is big when … it produces auroras over the Grand Canyon. Brian A. Klimowski photographed the rare display on May 11, 2024:
“This was just the afterglow of a more intense G5 storm on May 10th, but still so beautiful over the Canyon!” says Klimowski .
Geologists say that the Colorado River has been carving the Grand Canyon for 5 or 6 million years. No one knows how often auroras have been seen during that time. This is what we do know: The auroras of May 10-11, 2024, were among the most widespread of the past 500 years. (Synced with the epic time movement in the Harmonic.) EXITING THE STRIKE ZONE: Sunspot AR3664 is still a giant, easily the equal of Carrington’s sunspot, but it poses a declining threat to Earth. Why? Because it is exiting the strike zone. This picture from Philip Smith of Manorville NY shows the active region approaching the sun’s western limb:
CMEs emitted by the departing sunspot are no longer flying toward Earth. At most only glancing blows are likely from eruptions on May 12th through 14th.
The danger could return on May 15th, however. On that date the sunspot will pass through a region of the sun magnetically connected to Earth via the Parker Spiral. Subatomic debris (protons and electrons) from explosions on May 15th and 16th could spiral back to Earth and rain down our planet. This is called a “radiation storm;” it can upset satellite electronics and cause polar radio blackouts. (It can also make humans feel virusy sick.)

AURORAS IN FLORIDA, PUERTO RICO, MEXICO: Many people around the world have just seen auroras for the first time in their lives. This includes residents of the Florida Keys. Ron Jarrell sends this photo from Big Pine Key at latitude 24.7° N:
“The auroras were so beautiful!” says Jarrell, who needed no more than his smartphone to photograph the display.
Seeing auroras in the Florida Keys is extraordinary, but the light show didn’t stop there. Sky watchers saw the sky turn red across the Carribean. These pictures were taken from the southeast coast of Puerto Rico at latitude 18.1° N:

“The last events on record when auroras were seen from Puerto Rico were in 1859 and 1921, so tonight was an historic event”, says Eddie Irizarry from the Sociedad de Astronomia del Caribe (Astronomical Society of the Caribbean).
Auroras also appeared in Mexico. René Saade photographed the display looking north from the beach in Mazatlan, Sinaloa at latitude 23.2° N:
“This is not something you see every day–auroras and palm trees,” says Saade. “Amazing!”

A new study hints that humans have magnetoreception abilities, similar to some other animals.

A new analysis of people’s brain waves when surrounded by different magnetic fields suggests that people have a “sixth sense” for magnetism.
Birds, fish and some other creatures can sense Earth’s magnetic field and use it for navigation (SN: 6/14/14, p. 10). Scientists have long wondered whether humans, too, boast this kind of magnetoreception. Now, by exposing people to an Earth-strength magnetic field pointed in different directions in the lab, researchers from the United States and Japan have discovered distinct brain wave patterns that occur in response to rotating the field in a certain way.
These findings, reported in a study published online March 18 in eNeuro, offer evidence that people do subconsciously respond to Earth’s magnetic field — although it’s not yet clear exactly why or how our brains use this information.
“The first impression when I read the [study] was like, ‘Wow, I cannot believe it!’” says Can Xie, a biophysicist at Peking University in Beijing. Previous tests of human magnetoreception have yielded inconclusive results. This new evidence “is one step forward for the magnetoreception field and probably a big step for the human magnetic sense,” he says. “I do hope we can see replications and further investigations in the near future.”

During the experiment, 26 participants each sat with their eyes closed in a dark, quiet chamber lined with electrical coils. These coils manipulated the magnetic field inside the chamber such that it remained the same strength as Earth’s natural field but could be pointed in any direction. Participants wore an EEG cap that recorded the electrical activity of their brains while the surrounding magnetic field rotated in various directions.
This setup simulated the effect of someone turning in different directions in Earth’s natural, unchanging field without requiring a participant to actually move. (Complete stillness prevented motor-control thoughts from tainting brain waves due to the magnetic field.) The researchers compared these EEG readouts with those from control trials where the magnetic field inside the chamber didn’t move.
Joseph Kirschvink, a neurobiologist and geophysicist at Caltech, and colleagues studied alpha waves to determine whether the brain reacts to changes in magnetic field direction. Alpha waves generally dominate EEG readings while a person is sitting idle but fade when someone receives sensory input, like a sound or touch.
Sure enough, changes in the magnetic field triggered changes in people’s alpha waves. Specifically, when the magnetic field pointed toward the floor in front of a participant facing north — the direction that Earth’s magnetic field points in the Northern Hemisphere — swiveling the field counterclockwise from northeast to northwest triggered an average 25 percent dip in the amplitude of alpha waves. That change was about three times as strong as natural alpha wave fluctuations seen in control trials.

Curiously, people’s brains showed no responses to a rotating magnetic field pointed toward the ceiling — the direction of Earth’s field in the Southern Hemisphere. Four participants were retested weeks or months later and showed the same responses.
“It’s kind of intriguing to think that we have a sense of which we’re not consciously aware,” says Peter Hore, a chemist at the University of Oxford who has studied birds’ internal compasses. But “extraordinary claims need extraordinary proof, and in this case, that includes being able to reproduce it in a different lab.”
Questions raised
If these findings are able to be replicated, they pose several questions — such as why people seem to respond to downward- but not upward-pointing fields. Kirschvink and colleagues think they have an answer: “The brain is taking [magnetic] data, pulling it out and only using it if it makes sense,” Kirschvink says.
Participants in this study, who all hailed from the Northern Hemisphere, should perceive downward-pointing magnetic fields as natural, whereas upward fields would constitute an anomaly, the researchers argue. Magnetoreceptive animals are known to shut off their internal compasses when encountering weird fields, such as those caused by lightning, which might lead the animals astray. Northern-born humans may similarly take their magnetic sense “offline” when faced with strange, upward-pointing fields.
This explanation “seems plausible,” Hore says, but would need to be tested in an experiment with participants from the Southern Hemisphere.
The brain’s attention to counterclockwise but not clockwise rotations “is something surprising that we don’t really have a good explanation for,” says coauthor Connie Wang, who studies magnetoperception at Caltech. Some people may respond to clockwise rotations, just like some people are left-handed rather than right-handed, or clockwise rotations generate brain activity not captured in the alpha wave signal, she says.
Even accounting for which magnetic changes the brain picks up, researchers still don’t know what our minds might use that information for, Kirschvink says. Another lingering mystery is how, exactly, our brains detect Earth’s magnetic field. According to the researchers, the brain wave patterns uncovered in this study may be explained by sensory cells containing a magnetic mineral called magnetite, which has been found in magnetoreceptive trout as well as in the human brain (SN: 8/11/12, p. 13). Future experiments could confirm or eliminate that possibility.
With this first compelling evidence that humans are subconsciously processing magnetic signals, “we can [try to] identify the brain region it originates from and try to identify the nature of the cells” responsible, says Michael Winklhofer, a magnetoreception researcher at the University of Oldenburg in Germany. “This is really the first step.”

What do birds and bees, worms and wolves, fruit flies and fish all have in common? The answer: a magnetic sense that helps them navigate. Now it seems we might do as well.
Joseph Kirschvink at the California Institute of Technology in the US and colleagues found that altering the directions of nearby magnetic fields caused temporary changes in human brain activity.
While sitting still in a dark room, participants’ brain activity was recorded using electroencephalography (EEG), while electromagnetic coils were used to create magnetic fields.
The experiment mimicked the magnetic field changes we are subject to when we move about in the real world, says Kirschvink.
The direction and intensity of Earth’s magnetic field varies by geographical location. For example, at the magnetic north pole, one of two poles where the magnetic field is the strongest, the direction of the field points vertically downwards, into the ground.
In the wider northern hemisphere, this vertical angle changes but the magnetic field is always skewed downwards – meaning that when you hold a compass horizontally, the end pointing north is slightly pulled down. The south-pointing end of some compasses in the northern hemisphere are weighted to compensate for the pull.
Brain change
When the team exposed people to a downward-pointing magnetic field, they saw changes in brain wave patterns when they rotated the field horizontally in a counterclockwise direction .
The team measured alpha waves – present when we are awake but relaxed and with closed eyes – before and after a 100 millisecond change in magnetic field, and found a drop in amplitude in the waves in some people following the rotation.
But no participants showed brain changes when the magnetic field was rotated clockwise, a finding the researchers can’t explain.
Rotating an upwards-pointing magnetic field didn’t cause a change either, which the team speculates may be because the participants’ brains were attuned to the magnetic field of the northern hemisphere, where they conducted the study. Earth’s magnetic field always points up in the southern hemisphere.
“One interesting way to test this hypothesis would be to reproduce our experiment in the southern hemisphere,” says team member Isaac Hilburn.
Claims that humans can detect magnetic fields has long been a source of controversy, but other researchers are cautiously optimistic about the new work.
The team’s approach parallels studies of magnetoreception in animals, says Nathan Putman at LGL, an ecological research firm based in Bryan, Texas. Putman, who studies marine animals including turtles, says the strongest evidence for a magnetic sense is when animals change their direction of travel in response to an altered field.
The possibility that humans could have a magnetic sense is exciting, but the results will need to be replicated, he says. “A sceptic could argue that there’s a lot of reasons why brain waves might change and it may not have anything to do with orientation.”
It is possible the EEGs could have picked up disruptions from the surrounding environment, says Can Xie at Peking University in China, although the study tried to eliminate this, he says. “It is hard to interpret the EEG signal precisely, which makes it difficult to further explore the underlying molecular mechanism at this stage.”
If the results hold up, it may mean that a magnetic sense played a role in the nomadic lives of our hunter-gatherer ancestors, says Hilburn.

Right at the outset, it’s important to note that the U.S. military nor any military has the right, by universal law, to play power politics with control of the time portals. But they are doing that because of free will. People have the right to be wrong and then they face karma.
200 people died and 1500 people in their families suffered because of the hubris and idiocy of the U.S. government trying to measure their John Hancock in front of the Chinese because of this battery technology.
They succeeded in humiliating and humbling the Chinese. The U.S. loves that. These men in power will not stop until there is a tipping point in the population of the planet where the mindset shifts TOWARDS EMPOWERMENT, which is what I’m working on.
As Corey Goode has said, the DOD has all the E.T. tech underground, and they are using it for their awful political purposes, not for the betterment of humanity. KARMA. If they did the right thing, we’d be on a different Earth within two weeks, better for all life. That is what I want. That is what humanity deserves. Makes me weep. I have to trust the timing and my role in the universe as this plays out.

I can’t wait to see how they implode.)
All 200 passengers died except the defectors. The plane was set on fire by the U.S. military or D.O.D. but it is on record as disappearing without a trace. I posted previously on it.

Superconductivity is the property of certain materials to conduct direct current (DC) electricity without energy loss when they are cooled below a critical temperature (referred to as Tc). These materials also expel magnetic fields as they transition to the superconducting state.
-In the 2000’s quantum computers and the tech for AI computers created a “machine event-based logic with linear progression intuition that is limited”. (I’ll say. It is heretical to use the word intuition in the same sentence as artificial intelligence. A.I. is the opposite. Real intelligence, full of blood and born of a mother is intuitive meaning all humans, animals, and plants as well as E.T. species. Machines will never be intuitive. Don’t claim it around me.)
-The orbs are a meta structure that creates low complexity and a relatively low energy phase transition. It is elegant and simple. (Sounds like my Reiki energy and happens to be the cover of my book Healer that I published years ago.). The structures are inherently stable and self-regulating.

X-CLASS SOLAR FLARE (UPDATED): New sunspot AR3663 erupted this morning, May 3rd @ 0222 UT, producing an X1.6-class solar flare. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured the extreme ultraviolet flash:
Radiation from the flare ionized the top of Earth’s atmosphere and caused a deep shortwave radio blackout over Australia, Japan, and much of China: map. Ham radio operators may have noticed loss of signal below 30 MHz for a half an hour after the flare’s peak.
Update: Shortly after the flare, the US Air Force reported a Type II solar radio burst, a type of natural radio signal emitted by shocked gas at the leading edge of a CME. Drift rates within the burst indicate a launch speed of 960 km/s (3.6 million mph). SOHO coronagraph images have since confirmed the existence of a CME. The bulk of the cloud will pass north of our planet, with its southern flank delivering a glancing blow late on May 5th. G1 to G2-class geomagnetic storms are possible when the CME arrives. SPACEX SPIRAL SIGHTED DURING GEOMAGNETIC STORM: Last night, sky watchers in Europe went outside to observe the fading glow of a strong (G3) geomagnetic storm. “I was looking for aurora borealis after sunset, when suddenly a bright yellow object appeared near Polaris,” reports Gabriel Murawski from Dusia Lake, Lithuania. It was a SpaceX spiral:
Earlier the same day, SpaceX launched a pair of Earth observation satellites from California onboard a Falcon 9 rocket (May 2nd @ 1836 UTC). After deploying the satellites, the Falcon 9’s second stage performed a de-orbit burn; a bit of spin twisted the exhaust into a glowing spiral.
“It looked amazing!” says Murawski. “The spiral gliding next to the violet aurora borealis made a spectacular scene.”
Spirals are an increasingly routine by-product of SpaceX operations, with many recent Falcon 9 launches creating them. Similar swirls have been photographed over Norway, New Zealand, east Africa, Hawaii, and most famous of all, this specimen over Alaska. If you haven’t seen one yet, it may be just a matter of time.
