THE FIRST AURORAS OF THE YEAR: On Jan. 1st, a crack opened in Earth’s magnetic field. Solar wind poured through the gap and fueled the first auroras of 2024. Northern lights tour guide Chris Percival photographed the display over Vesterålen, Norway:
“Our guests had a fantastic display here tonight in Arctic Norway,” says Percival. “Shortly after the Moon rose and lit up the landscape, the aurora borealis decided to make a powerful appearance.”

At least three sunspots have unstable magnetic fields teetering on the edge of such an explosion: AR3519, AR3521, AR3529. NOAA forecasters peg the odds at 40%. PSCs SPILL OUT OF THE ARCTIC: Normally, polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs) are confined inside the Arctic Circle. Only above the poles can the stratosphere become cold enough to create these rare clouds. However, during this week’s outbreak of PSCs, the clouds have spilled out of the Arctic to places they are seldom seen. Last night, Vincent Phillips witnessed their aurora-like colors near Liverpool, UK:
“A small gap in storm Pia’s cloud cover just after sunset revealed this stunning display of polar ptratospheric clouds,” says Phillips. “We saw them from Hale village near Liverpool [more than 13 degrees below the Arctic Circle].”
Widely considered to be the most beautiful clouds on Earth, polar stratospheric clouds are a sign of extreme cold. PSCs form when the temperature in the Arctic stratosphere drops to a staggeringly-low -85 C. Then, and only then, can widely-spaced water molecules in the dry stratosphere coalesce into tiny ice crystals. High-altitude sunlight shining through the crystals creates intense iridescent colors that rival auroras.
Something new: For the rest of this northern winter season, we will publish daily predictions of temperatures in the Arctic stratosphere. This will help sky watchers know when to look for these rare clouds. The predictions are right here.

STRONGEST FLARE OF THE CURRENT SOLAR CYCLE: Sunspot 3514 erupted on Dec. 14th (1702 UT), producing a strong X2.8-class solar flare. This is the strongest flare of Solar Cycle 25 (so far) and the most powerful eruption the sun has produced since the great storms of Sept. 2017. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded the extreme ultraviolet flash:
Radiation from the flare has caused a deep shortwave radio blackout over the Americas: blackout map. Ham radio operators may have noticed loss of signal at all frequencies below 30 MHz for more than 30 minutes after the flare.
It’s too soon to know for sure, but this explosion probably launched a fast coronal mass ejection (CME) with an Earth-directed component. The US Air Force is reporting a Type II solar radio burst, which typically comes from the leading edge of a CME. Based on the drift rate of the radio burst, the emerging CME’s velocity could exceed 2100 km/s (4.7 million mph). Stay tuned for confirmation.

Quick and Interesting Note about F3 in the ScR, hypothetically at Creative Tone 6 level
I’ve been tracking for five days, since 12/4/23. F3 is the ScR layer on the Frequency square and I think it pulses Rhythmic Tone 6 of the Tzolkin Psi Bank. It has remained almost the same at 20.20hz from Dawn to midnight all 5 days. We’ll see if it continues. The rest of the readings change.
This is the center layer of twelve tones being the sixth tone layer. Remember, if you watched the NASA videos, the scientists said that the very upper layer 3 (what they see) comes and goes. It isn’t always there and I surmise that is Tone 13, the cosmic tone. It disappears because most of the mindset frequency of earth does not pulse cosmically. People are still 12:60 clenched by “Time is Money” thinking and feeling.
It makes sense that ScR F3 layer, if it is Tone 6, would pulse 20.20hz, which it’s doing, to maintain the universal synchronicity of time because our MINDS and mechanical clocks persist in 12:60. So does our computer binary programming in all of our tools.
12:60 is divisible by 2 and 20 so it keeps a stable center point and an ongoing rhythm with the true time cycle 13:20. Even when the upper 3rd/13th Van Allen Belt disappears we keep the equilibrium of the planet with the sun. This will continue until the highest sentient creatures on earth wake up to the frequencies of the local universe.
That’s what I see. That’s the haps time travellers.

Schumann Resonance-ScR observation today
At sunrise and sunset, which is when we have the fewest photons around the earth, we have a big spike in deep inner earth at the Q1 level. Magnetic tone 1 hypothetically. That is super interesting since it’s crystalline down there. Crystal conducts ELM, which is why it’s in all of our tech.
At the F1 frequency, Tone 5 Overtone, hypothetically, it always goes up into alpha hertz, which it is right now at 5:07pm EST. In the morning, we’re in theta. The frequency reading speaks directly to our brains.
A3, amplitude Tone 11 we saw it lower from 7.20 to 1.00hz. The image on the sight is giving you the highest the amplitude was today, 52 hz, not what it is now. Maybe they believe the amplitudes keep resonating like a bell.
Today was a 6~8 pulse, rhythmic to galactic.

A LULL IN SUNSPOT ACTIVITY: In the past two weeks, sunspot counts have sharply dropped, leaving the solar disk almost blank. Does this mean Solar Cycle 25 is ending prematurely? THE MYSTERY OF ORANGE AURORAS: A recent display of auroras over Canada has experts scratching their heads. The mystery? They were orange: (DUDES…RED AND YELLOW MAKE ORANGE. Google it. 🙄)
“This was a first for me,” says Harlan Thomas, who photographed the display over Sibbald Pond west of Calgary, Alberta, on Oct. 19th. “The orange was sublime, just incredible. The pillars in the center stayed there glowing for more than 20 minutes.”
Auroras aren’t supposed to be orange. (It’s just the red and yellow tribe spectrums combined!-L.T) Consider the following: Auroras get their colors from atoms and molecules in Earth’s atmosphere. (which make LIGHT) During geomagnetic storms, energetic particles rain down from space, striking the air and causing it to glow. Red, green, purple (blue and red tribe spectrums-L.T), and even pink (white and red tribes combined-LT) are common signs of excited oxygen and nitrogen…(and light)
The problem is, there’s nothing in the air capable of making bright orange. (Oh for gods sake). Theoretically, nitrogen and oxygen (N2, N2+, and O2+) can produce emissions at orange wavelengths. However, these emissions are very weak compared to other colors produced by the same molecules. Any orange should be overwhelmed.

The answer may be hiding in plain sight. Take another look at Thomas’s photo. Bright red auroras appear on top, overlapping green auroras lower down. Red and green mixing together may have produced the yellow-orange glow.
Indeed, aurora physicist Kjellmar Oksavik of the University of Bergen in Norway believes that’s the correct explanation:
“Red auroras are formed by low-energy electrons colliding with atomic oxygen at high altitudes (200-400 km). Here, oxygen atoms are excited into a quantum state called O(1D), where they can emit a red photon at 630.0 nanometers,” Oksavik says.
“Green auroras are formed by higher-energy electrons penetrating deeper and colliding with atomic oxygen at lower altitudes (100-150 km),” he continues. “Here, oxygen atoms are excited into a state called O(1S), where they emit a green photon at 557.7 nanometers.”
“In between, there can be a mixing of the two processes, which fools the camera and eye to believe that it is orange. In reality, it is both red and green at the same time,” he says.

Oksavik points out one more thing in Harlan Thomas’s photo: “It beautifully reveals the alignment of Earth’s magnetic field. The bright pillar in the center is a textbook example of a very tall auroral ray. These are aligned along the magnetic field and caused by a broad energy spectrum of electrons [raining down from space]. Slower electrons collide high up (red light), while more energetic electrons travel further down into a much denser atmosphere (green light).” The overlap naturally produces a yellow-orange glow–no mystery molecule required.
