Here is a bit of ancestor time travel. I’ve got my whole family tree done and there’s some crazy synchronicity in there. We are definitely born into the birth family best suited to us to keep learning.
He was in the 7th Regiment NY Militia in the American Revolutionary War. He was 15 in 1775 and 17 at the time of this war and survived the war. My grandfather Eber Townsend fought here.

Robert Townsend was my cousin. John was his father. Henry Townsend was his brother, my grandfather.
John Townsend arrived in Oyster Bay in 1661 and he died there in 1668. There is a marker for him in Fort Hill Cemetery in the village of Oyster Bay. John was my uncle. Henry was his brother, my grandfather. Together, they wrote the precursor to the the First Amendment to the Constitution, Freedom of Religion.
