Charles Hall (USAF whistleblower) claims 1st atomic powered spacecraft were developed in 1960s with help of Tall White extraterrestrials out of Nellis AFB. Atomic engines also used in TR-3Bs from 1980s. SSPs have been using atomic engines for a long time.
