Lucifer was a very high being, an angel of light who went seriously rogue unpredictably. That mistake was ultimately on Christ Michael, Jesus. He felt guilty, responsible, as the CEO of the local universe, for bringing that energy to evolving humans although he in no way caused it.
The Urantia Book says that Christ felt like a failure after he left his sojourn in earth. This is kind of an epic narrative whose mysteries have not been investigated yet. Just remember that universe personalities are not perfect. Your best bet is to meditate yourself and listen to SOURCE IN YOU. Nevertheless, Christ is a Creator Son, a descended being from Source. He does not make mistakes even though he felt responsible in some way because he never wanted us to suffer as we have, and we have. So, in order to relate to our suffering, he went through the same.
