Women have had great ideas for a million years, for as long as we’ve been upright on two legs. They always end up in the hands of men because patriarchy gives them the influence to make it land. The woman’s name, mind, and voice is absorbed by the man, just like marriage.
They could help us land it on our behalf instead of taking it over and putting their name on it. Our intellectual property belongs to us and needs to be moved forward cooperatively, just like parenting. Women and men parent a child together and they should parent ideas together too or there will never be gender equity.
Women’s perspective and way of thinking is different than a man. If we don’t shepherd our ideas there will be no reason for us to have children anymore because there won’t be a human species. Women don’t count except for sex and babies. We can get all the college degrees we want but once a woman steps in any workplace the men are predatory. All they see is how we look and maybe they can “get some of that.” Our minds are secondary if they count at all.
