The total Solar Eclipse in Leo occurs this afternoon, pointing to new beginnings and challenges that set us along a new path regarding the themes of confidence, creativity, romance and dating, games, sports, recreation, speculation, hobbies, or children. With this potent Leo energy, we have the chance to make solid changes in our lives over the coming weeks and months. For some of us, circumstances require us to pay closer attention to these matters. We are encouraged to let go of the past in a significant way so that we can move forward. Ultimately, we are better positioned to understand that changes or endings are necessary for our growth. However, with the eclipse occurring now, we remain symbolically in the dark, and it’s best to take our time with new beginnings. This eclipse is the second of six in a Leo-Aquarius set that began in February.
This morning’s Mars-Chiron sextile is gently motivating, generating enthusiasm and healing power. An opportunity can arise to take the lead or take action that leads to healing, cleansing, or teaching. We can feel a pleasant, motivating sense of mission, and we’re fearless about addressing problem areas. The drive to take affirmative action is with us, most likely to defend or help ourselves and others. We also enjoy a Mercury-Uranus sextile that opens our minds and willingness to entertain new methods and ideas. We’re just detached enough from a matter to gain perspective, and our ideas, conversations, and musings are unique, forward-looking, and ahead of their time. Original, creative ideas and theories come naturally. We can take advantage of this by solving problems in new, innovative ways.
Varying our usual routine may be especially rewarding, and ideas to do so abound.
