A major disruption of the polar vortex appears to be underway as the Arctic stratosphere suddenly warms. Researchers call this a “sudden stratospheric warming event.” It’s caused by planetary atmospheric waves crashing into the vortex and breaking it up. Cold air spilling out of the weakened vortex could plunge the USA, Canada, and parts of Europe into bitter cold little more than a week before the arrival of Spring. This also marks the end of polar stratospheric cloud season for Arctic observers.
CIR HITS EARTH, SPARKS AURORAS: If you’ve never heard of a co-rotating interaction region (CIR), just think of it as a mini CME. One hit Earth on March 8th, sparking more than 10 hours of geomagnetic storms. “The auroras in Minnesota were some of the brightest I’ve seen in a while,” reports Anna Eastman, who watched the show from the Agassiz Wildlife Refuge:
CIRs are transition zones between fast – and slow-moving streams of solar wind. They contain magnetic fields and shock waves akin to those of CMEs. While CMEs require some sort of explosion on the sun, CIRs do not. They form gently from the sandwiching of solar wind streams–no solar flare required.
A fast-moving solar wind stream has arrived on the heels of the CIR. This is the same stream that created the CIR in the first place by compressing a region of slower solar wind ahead of it. Blowing 600 km/s, the fast stream could cause additional category G1 (Minor) storms on March 10th. High-latitude sky watchers should remain alert for auroras. Aurora alerts: SMS Text.
The arrival of the CIR on March 8th immediately caused a G1-class (Minor) storm, intensifying to category G2 (Moderate) on March 9th. Sky watchers in Iceland, Canada, and multiple US states from New York to Utah saw the geomagnetic glow. “Even with a bright Moon, it was a beautiful light show,” she says.

On Nov. 22, Yellow 10 Sun, End of the Central Axis. Electrons went up into Space Backward. Read the explanation below. They are called anti-auroras. That is exact synchronicity with HF35. The IChing is 49-Revolution, Molting, where we landed on November22-23.
BLACK AURORAS OVER ALASKA? Todd Salat is a veteran photographer of auroras in Alaska. For years he has chased the lights and seen most of what Mother Nature has to offer. But even he was puzzled on Nov. 22nd when these strangely-shaped auroras appeared overhead:
“I saw these bizarre auroras drift over south central Alaska around 4 am last Friday morning,” says Salat. “It came up from the northwest and I was like, whoa! It looked like the letter E to me.”
Salat may have witnessed an episode of ‘black auroras.’ They are dark rings or black blobs that sometimes appear in an otherwise ordinary expanse of aurora light. For example, look at Figure 1 in this research paper on the topic. Some researchers call them “anti-auroras.” The black auroras in Salat’s photo are circled here.
Ordinary auroras are caused by electrons raining down from space.Black auroras are the opposite. Instead of electrons raining down, electrons are propelled upwards back into space.Europe’s fleet of Cluster spacecraft flew over a black aurora on Jan. 14, 2001, and saw the process in action:
TIME REVERSED, LITERALLY. This was a Polar kin which reversed the Yellow Galactic Spectrum.
(The next day was Red 11 Spectral Dragon in HF36. This was THE OMEGA POINT or ending point. The I Ching was 33 or RETREAT. I wrote in my Tzolkin that it pulses to 1 Mirror, Bohm’s holographic plate in HF30 for holomovement. This synchronicity of astronomical movement is EXACT.)
Sensors onboard the spacecraft detected strong positive electric fields in the black aurora zone. These fields reversed the normal downward rain of aurora-causing electrons.
The study of black auroras is still in its infancy. Forecasters cannot yet predict when or where they might appear. Aurora watchers, the next time a geomagnetic storm erupts, be alert for black. Aurora alerts:SMS Text.
The northern autumnal equinox is only two days away. That’s good news for sky watchers because auroras love equinoxes. Researchers call it the “Russell-McPherron effect.” At this time of year, cracks form in Earth’s magnetic field, opening the door for solar storms. Even a weak stream of solar wind or a glancing blow from a CME can spark a good display. Happy autumn! Aurora alerts:SMS Text
A BRGHT COMET IS APPROACHING EARTH: Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS (C/2023 A3) has just emerged from behind the sun, and its appearance has astronomers buzzing with anticipation. “The comet is brightening rapidly,” says Australian astrophotographer Michael Mattiazzo, who has been monitoring the comet in dawn twilight:
Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS on Sept. 17th in dawn twilight over Swan Hill, Australia
“The comet was only 6 degrees above the horizon when I photographed it on Sept. 17th,” says Mattiazzo. “Using 15x70mm binoculars, I estimated its visual magnitude to be +4.3.”
This is very good news. Some astronomers predicted Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS would fall apart during its transit behind the sun. The fact that it is still intact and healthy means we could witness a bright naked-eye comet next month.
“Prospects remain excellent for a visually impressive evening display in mid-October,” says Qicheng Zhang of the Lowell Observatory. “Weather permitting, the entire Northern Hemisphere should be able to see Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS.”
Nick James of the British Astronomical Association just wrote an article anticipating the bright comet. “It makes its closest approach to Earth on October 12 when it will be 0.47 au away in the constellation of Virgo,” he says. “There is a possibility that the comet will be at a negative magnitude as it emerges into the evening sky from Oct. 10th onwards.”
This light curve from astronomer Bum-Suk Yeom shows a huge spike in the comet’s brightness around Oct. 9-10. [more]
“Negative magnitude” means the comet could be visible in broad daylight, especially on Oct. 9th when light from the nearby sun will be forward scattered by comet dust, amplifying the comet’s brightness. “[Daylight photography of the comet] should only be attempted if you know what you are doing,” cautions James. “The sun will be very close by and this is potentially a very dangerous observation, similar to observing Venus at inferior conjunction.”
It’s been done before, though. Witness Comet McNaught in 2007, which was seen in broad daylight by thousands of observers. Could a repeat display be in the offing? Stay tuned for updates as Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS approaches Earth.
We are at the full moon, and we begin a new HF on Red 8 Skywalker tomorrow.

CME IMPACT SPARKS SEVERE STORM: Arriving about 6 hours later than expected, a CME hit Earth’s magnetic field on Sept. 16th (2341 UT). The impact sparked a G4-class (Severe) geomagnetic storm with auroras sighted as far south as the Texas Panhandle. The storm has subsided, but it’s not over. Storm levels are now fluctuating between G1 (Minor) and G3 (Strong) as Earth moves through the CME’s wake. Aurora alerts:SMS Text
Full moonlight was supposed to spoil the show, but the auroras were bright enough to compete with the Harvest Moon. Paul Robinson sends this picture from Boulder, Colorado:
“Red rays were dimly visible to the unaided eye for about 5 minutes,” says Robinson. “I photographed them using my Samsung S24 phone in night mode.”
PARTIAL ECLIPSE OF THE HARVEST MOON: This week’s full Moon is special for several reasons.
(1) It’s the Harvest Moon, the full Moon closest to the autumnal equinox.
(2) It’s a perigee Moon, slightly closer to Earth than usual. And,
(3) It’s going to be partially eclipsed.
This animation created by reader Peter Zimnikoval shows the Moon grazing Earth’s shadow during the early UTC hours of Sept. 18th:
For sky watchers in the Americas, the eclipse occurs on Sept. 17th. Peak coverage occurs at 10:44 p.m. EDT (7:44 p.m. PDT), when a little more than 8 percent of the Moon will be in shadow.
Mainstream media stories are trumpeting this as a “supermoon eclipse.” Indeed, it is a supermoon, or as an astronomer would say, a “perigee Moon.” The Moon’s orbit is an ellipse with one side (“perigee”) about 50,000 km closer than the other (“apogee”). Full Moons that occur on the perigee side of the Moon’s orbit are extra big and bright. This week’s Harvest Moon becomes full within 10 hours of perigee, making it about 5 percent bigger and 13 percent brighter than usual. Is that really “super”? You decide.
Before the days of electric lights, farmers relied on moonlight to harvest ripening autumn crops after sunset. The partial eclipse will briefly dim the glow. Pro tip for farmers: Take your headlamp.
They are eminating from the magnetosphere, the Psi Bank, the mind of earth.
WAITING FOR THE NEXT CME: A geomagnetic storm is underway, but it is relatively minor (G1/G2). Conditions won’t intensify again until the next CME arrives. NOAA forecasters are currently predicting a return to extreme (G4/G5) storming on May 12th. We think May 13th is more likely when a CME from yesterday’s X5.8-class flare is expected to arrive. Either way, stay tuned! CME impact alerts:SMS Text
AURORAS IN FLORIDA, PUERTO RICO, MEXICO: Many people around the world have just seen auroras for the first time in their lives. This includes residents of the Florida Keys. Ron Jarrell sends this photo from Big Pine Key at latitude 24.7° N:
“The auroras were so beautiful!” says Jarrell, who needed no more than his smartphone to photograph the display.
Seeing auroras in the Florida Keys is extraordinary, but the light show didn’t stop there. Sky watchers saw the sky turn red across the Carribean. These pictures were taken from the southeast coast of Puerto Rico at latitude 18.1° N:

“The last events on record when auroras were seen from Puerto Rico were in 1859 and 1921, so tonight was an historic event”, says Eddie Irizarry from the Sociedad de Astronomia del Caribe (Astronomical Society of the Caribbean).
Auroras also appeared in Mexico. René Saade photographed the display looking north from the beach in Mazatlan, Sinaloa at latitude 23.2° N:
“This is not something you see every day–auroras and palm trees,” says Saade. “Amazing!”
The low latitude of these sightings would seem to place this storm among the greatest aurora displays of the past 500 years. Stay tuned for more information on this topic when the storm is finally over a few days from now. Meanwhile sign up for aurora alerts!
The substorms from the Sun hitting the Psi Bank need to be researched, which I am doing. They are the precursor to earth weather, according to NASA, which Jose Arguelles purported to be connected to IChing geomancy controlling the grid of earth. Those substorms create auroras according to NASA.
Again, the Mayan teaching is the auroras are the Tzolkin Harmonic of time. The aurora colors are the Mayan color spectrum.
If the sun, earth, DNA, and the planets in our local system are sentient, then so is the energy around it; the magnetosphere and the substorms. ?🤷♀️
Sentient means it has mind. If the magnetosphere and substorms PROTECT earth, that IS sentient. Protection isn’t an accident. Anything in the life systems that is protective happens on purpose. A decision was made. It can’t be an accident or just a coincidence. It’s synchronicity.
NASA says the substorms protect us and allow us to be here to do whatever it is we feel we need to do. They get that we are an evolving sphere of learning and love. ❤️
I could listen to this all day. It sounds like water, Red Moon Tribe, Universal Feelings which is the start codon of the DNA sequence in HF33, Red 12 Crystal Moon. Water is Hydrogen and Oxygen. The Sun is made of mostly Hydrogen and Helium. The short of it is, it is the evolution of FEELINGS that has made us more human. Those feelings can swing many ways as we know but we are lifting them from the limbic serpent brain into the top brain neo cortex.
No one has said this, but I am going to. The poles of Earth are shifting, and the ringing in my brain is off-putting.
Keep in mind that as you look at the Tzolkin, the red light-time, 52-day cycle comes first, and the green light-time cycle 52-day cycle comes LAST.
We are currently in the red light cycle, but the green light hovers over all of the 5gdorce kin for now. I post that daily.

RED AURORAS OVER FLORIDA (AND ELSEWHERE): This hasn’t happened in nearly 20 years. On March 24th, auroras descended all the way to Florida. Bill Williams photographed their red glow from the Chiefland Astro Village:
What in the world? Normally, we have a very dark horizon looking out over the Suwannee River Basin and Gulf of Mexico,” says Williams. “But my 26-minute exposure taken to capture the Winter Milky Way showed an unusual red glow.”
“The mystery was solved the next day as Spaceweather.com described a severe geomagnetic storm well-seen in the U.S. As far as I know, at 29.4 degrees north latitude, we are the farthest south this aurora has been witnessed, and is the first I have seen here in Florida since 2003 and 1989!”
Most auroras are green, yet when auroras spread to low latitudes, the sightings are almost always red. There’s a simple reason. Ordinary green auroras come from oxygen atoms about 150 km above Earth’s surface. Red auroras are also caused by oxygen, but much higher up, between 150 km and 500 km.
This picture taken the same night by Dean Cosgrove of Curtis, Nebraska, (+40.6N) nicely illustrates the red-on-green altitude structure:
From far-south places like Florida, the greens are eclipsed by the northern horizon, leaving the higher reds to dominate the display.
Other notable sightings of low-latitude red auroras during last week’s storm include New Mexico (+32.8N), North Carolina (+36.5N), Colorado (+40.4N), and California (+39.7N).
Did *you* see red? Submit your photos here. Aurora alerts:SMS Text.
Note: Unrelated to auroras, another red glow called “airglow” can also be seen sometimes at low latitudes. Indeed, on any other night, airglow would be a leading explanation for what Williams photographed. But on March 24, 2023, during an extreme geomagnetic storm, with other red auroras being seen only a few degrees away, auroras are the most likely explanation.
AURORA DUNES SEEN DURING EXTREME STORM: Lots of unusual things were seen during last week’s extreme geomagnetic storm. Alan Dyer of Gleichen, Alberta, photographed one of them, shown here in a deep twilight photo at te onsett of the storm:
“I captured some ‘aurora dunes,'” Dyer says. “They are the horizontal green ripples to the left of Venus and the Moon.”
Aurora dunes are a recently identified form of Northern Lights named after their resemblence to ripples in desert sand. Researchers first explained them in a paper published only a few years ago. The dunes are a “mesospheric bore,” a type of atmospheric gravity wave that springs up from Earth’s surface and gets caught in a thermal waveguide ~100 km high. When solar wind particles rain down on the bore, they illuminate its rippling structure.
Sky watchers in the Arctic have been seeing dunesfor years without understanding what they were. A breakthrough came on Oct. 7, 2018, when multiple groups photographed dunes from widely separated locations in Finland. Triangulation revealed the dunes to be ~100 km high with a pure, monochromatic wavelength of about 45 km.
This is a new field of study with potential for discovery. Monitoring aurora dunes may reveal previously hidden waves and waveguides at the boundary between Earth and space. If you see any, submit your photos here.
The auroras are light emanations from the Tzolk’in whose Source are the Tones of Creation. Light comes from sound.
The Maya did a great job of illuminating our DNA source for being HUMAN as the multidimensional universe. We are from the stars and were made to live in balance with the universe, not dominated by male or female, science or religion, but ART, creativity, imagination, and freedom. Anything else isn’t good enough for us.
AURORAS LOVE EQINOXES: The vernal equinox is only one day away. That’s good news because auroras love equinoxes. At this time of year, cracks form in Earth’s magnetic field. Even a weak stream of solar wind can penetrate to spark a good display. Aurora alerts:SMS Text.
ANOTHER DARK PLASMA ERUPTION: Warning: This post may give you a sense of déjà vu. On March 17th, a magnetic filament filled with dark plasma erupted from the southwestern quadrant of the sun:
This is almost identical to a dark plasma eruption last week. The March 11th blast threw a CME at our planet and sparked G2-class geomagnetic storms when it arrived 3 days later. Auroras were sighted in bothhemispheres. (I already posted on what this actually was in Tzolkonic terms)
The March 17th eruption might do the same. NOAA forecasters say a CME is on the way and it could arrive on March 20th. Stay tuned for updates. Aurora alerts:SMS Text.
The auroras ARE the Tzolk’in or Mayan count of time. Time is light emanations that manifest as DNA by changing frequency, and light has its SOURCE in sound or The Tones of Creation. I haven’t finished that book yet.😊 The auroras are the etheric body of Earth’s light body just as the human aura is the light emanation of human chakras. The earth and humans are analogous and inseparable in every respect, actually. It’s an intimate relationship and a loving one from the earth to us but we don’t usually reciprocate but should.
Huge synchronicity here which I wondered about as I flipped my Tzolkin BOOK from the front to the very back yesterday. What did it mean that THE FIFTH DENSITY GFORCES were at the very end of the 260-day cycle, flipped, all the way to the other side?
So, Yellow 1 Sun, kin 40 2 days ago, has the 5gforce of KIN260, and Red 2 Dragon, yesterday, has the 5gforce of kin259 and so forth as time spirals in on itself in its natural RADIAL manner.
It means that in duality frequency, time goes in two directions, future, and past, with 2 strands, AC and CA. It doesn’t have to but where we are in our evolution we need duality and resistance to grow. With this new solar cycle 25, the ELM of the Sun has flipped, and so are the planets reversing and so is time. No worries as long as you are sitting in your center, the CNS, the axis of the eternal present. If not, your mind will spin out. You must stay IN YOUR OWN BODY CENTER!
CME IMPACT SPARKS NORTHERN *AND* SOUTHERN LIGHTS: A CME struck Earth’s magnetic field yesterday, March 15th. The impact was so strong, it sparked auroras over both ends of our planet. First, the south:
“Red auroras lit up the skies above Lake Ellesmere, New Zealand,” reports photographer Mike White. “A strong glow persisted for an hour or so on the southern horizon with occasional periods of bright rays extending upwards.”
Second, the north:
Roman Banas photographed these red auroras near Bydgoszcz, Poland, almost 18,000 km away yet remarkably similar to the display in New Zealand. “You could see the rays with the naked eye,” says Banas. “It was strongest around midnight.”
This is the time of year when Northern and Southern Lights can be seen at the same time. We’re only days away from the March equinox. Nearly equal amounts of darkness allow sky watchers in both hemispheres equal opportunity to witness auroras. The lights themselves are caused by exactly the same physics: Particles from the sun hit Earth’s upper atmosphere, causing air to glow red and green regardless of latitude.
The CME that struck Earth on March 15th was hurled into space by the eruption of a magnetic filament on the sun almost 4 days earlier. Its arrival sparked a series of alternating G1 and G2-class geomagnetic storms throughout the day. Subscribers to our Space Weather Alert service received instant text messages when the CME arrived and when the ensuring storms developed.
White Dog Time Portal is a polar kin. All White Dog kin, people, generate TIME from the N. pole. Not physically, ASTRALLY, in their Astral body which is 4D and just as literal, maybe more so than the very fast-moving, dense flesh body. We are visible because our cells, and our brains are spinning at a dizzying speed, thus we appear still. It’s ironic and it’s physics.
The earthquake lights occurred on 11-23-22, AND with this quake of 2-6-2023. They are the northern lights or the auroras, which are emanating from the magnetosphere, which is the Tzolkin Psi Bank in the cosmic web.
TIME is manifested SPACEtime for the purposes of evolution as DNA life forms. Our lessons wouldn’t be very valuable to us as muggles if it was all INVISIBLE. So to talk about it, I, we, use SYMBOLS to represent manifested thought forms and waveforms. All life around us is at the level of symbol representing the thought form and feeling that the thing is. What is real is mind and heart, thoughts and feelings in 4D and 5D. Then we see it because we and millions of others INTEND to. We are magical co-creators and could be much more mindful than we are about what we are creating.
Our eyesight relies on a certain wavelength to see things in 4D in TIME because our brains and spirituality are still quite low compared to other universe species. We need to see the matrix movie playout in front of us in order to learn from it.
Mayan symbols are representations of amino acids and hertz levels of sound, which is PHYSICS.
