Venus mediated Yesterday
VENUS IN FULL: Like the Moon, Venus has phases. There is one phase, however, that astronomers rarely see: Full. The 100% disk of Venus can be devilishly difficult to observe because it only appears when Venus is behind the sun. On July 13th, Patricio Leon photographed the full disk in a blue winter sky over Santiago, Chile:
“I located the planet by optical means when it was close to transiting the meridian at noon,” says Leon. “In round numbers it presents a 100% phase, measures 10 arcseconds in diameter, and lies 10° east of the sun.”
This won’t last long. Venus is emerging from the glare of the sun to renew its position as the Evening Star. As the second half of 2024 unfolds, it will shape-shift into a gibbous, half, then crescent easily seen in the twilight sky. If you decide to catch the rare Full Venus, do so now, but be careful! The blinding sun is only 10° away.
It’s important to know that in the eyes of the universe, we are sovereign to ourselves but never superior over others. Neither is the universe superior over us.
They learn from what we go through also and never seek to be our authority. They help us if we ask and listen, and we help each other. Free will. This is a big deal. Individuals are sovereign in our free will. Meditate on this, and you will lose pity. Everyone has a mind and choice, no matter what your bias is about them. Everyone is a child of God.
All humans incarnated on earth are wounded and evolving at their own pace. While we’re all different, the only reason we would come to this planet is if we had karma or dharma from the past or the future. Thus, we have a body as time. That’s proof right there.
What gets me is when people think that money and status can un-damage them or heal them that they can hide behind. Worldly success must mean they are better than regular people? They have no empathy and don’t want to. So be it.
I know people like this, and they will lie to their grave rather than tell the truth because if they told the truth, it would put them on the same level as everyone else. Their lies keep a fake persona going so they can keep a distance.
We can do both; be alone in our own space from the vampiring hordes who want everything for free and right now, and go into the public or deal with the public and share our gifts while being ourselves. We can strike a balance.

The Schumann Resonance
One intriguing connection that is often explored in spiritual discourse is the relationship between resonance and the Schumann frequency, also known as the Schumann resonance. Named after physicist Winfried Otto Schumann, who predicted its existence in 1952.
The Schumann frequency refers to the electromagnetic resonance frequency of the Earth’s ionosphere. It is often described as the planet’s ‘heartbeat’, with a fundamental frequency of approximately 7.83 Hz, although it is reported to range up to 33 Hz, with resonant harmonic frequencies occurring at around 14 Hz and 20 Hz. In the amplitude layers, it can go over 100 Gamma hz.
Scientists measure these frequencies using a network of monitoring stations around the world, gathering information on the electrical field intensity and magnetic field strength at the Earth’s surface. Interestingly, the Schumann frequency synchronizes with the theta, alpha, beta, and gamma frequencies or brain waves, promoting states of relaxation, creativity, and deep introspection or flashes of brilliance for autists. This synchronisation is thought to help enhance cognitive function and facilitate learning and memory processes.
Additionally, the Schumann resonance is believed to modulate the immune system, fostering a state of balance and harmony within the body, thereby potentially strengthening immune responses. Moreover, its influence on mood and emotions is notable, with studies suggesting that exposure to the Schumann frequency can promote feelings of calmness, reduce stress, and alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression. Furthermore, its subtle yet significant impact on creativity is evident, as it fosters a conducive mental environment for innovative thinking, artistic expression, and problem-solving.
Proponents of the spiritual significance of the Schumann frequency argue that it serves as a bridge between the human consciousness and the broader consciousness of the Earth and the cosmos. They suggest that when we resonate with ideas or experiences, we are aligning ourselves with the fundamental frequency of the Earth, tapping into its wisdom and energy. Many spiritual traditions believe that the Schumann resonance plays a crucial role in human consciousness and spiritual evolution. It is seen as a fundamental frequency that attunes us to the rhythms of the Earth and facilitates a deeper connection to the divine.
When we resonate with spiritually aligned ideas, it’s possible that we are tapping into the vibrational frequency of the Schumann resonance. This resonance not only harmonises our individual consciousness with the collective consciousness of humanity but also aligns us with the wisdom and guidance of the Earth itself.

When Firefly Aerospace’s Alpha rocket launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on July 3rd, astronomer David Blanchard of Flagstaff, Arizona, thought he might be too far away to see. Instead, he had a front row seat as the rocket punched a huge glowing-red hole in the ionosphere:
“I wish I had started the video capture earlier, but I was using a telephoto lens expecting the rocket to be small and far downrange,” says Blanchard. “When I realized how large it was, I swapped in a wide angle lens and re-started recording mid-flight.”
The lingering red glow in Blanchard’s movie is “the hole.” Earth’s ionosphere is a layer of electrically-conducting gas enveloping our planet 100 to 600 km high. It plays a key role in shortwave radio communications and GPS positioning. When Alpha burned through the ionosphere, water and carbon dioxide in rocket’s exhaust quenched local ionization by as much as 70%. Red light is the afterglow of this process.
Firefly Aerospace isn’t the first to do this. Indeed, the phenomenon has been studied for decades. However, ionospheric holes are opening much more frequently than ever before–an unintended side effect of record-high launch rates led by SpaceX’s almost-weekly Starlink missions.

Ham radio operators may notice ionospheric holes when shortwave signals fail to skip over the horizon, shooting through holes instead of bouncing back to Earth. Sudden GPS errors may also result from the anomalies. So far as we know, these effects are short-lived. The holes close (re-ionization occurs) as soon as the sun comes up in the morning.
No harm done? Probably. But with launch rates continuing to climb, we are moving into uncharted territory. Observers are encouraged to photograph nighttime launches and check their images for the telltale red glow. There may be much to learn.

NOCTILUCENT CLOUDS BLANKET EUROPE: This weekend, Europe is experiencing a widespread outbreak of noctilucent clouds (NLCs). Normally confined inside the Arctic Circle, the electric-blue wisps of frosted meteor smoke have been sighted as far south as Italy:
“It was a beautiful display,” reports Fabrizio Marchi from Treviso, a city near Venice. “We are at +45 N, so the clouds have reached mid-latitudes.”
2024 is supposed to be a bad year for NLCs because Solar Max has arrived. High solar activity should melt these fragile clouds away. Two factors may be counteracting the sun.

First, there’s Tonga. The undersea volcano erupted in January 2022, hurling record amounts of water into the atmosphere. That was two years ago, but it takes about two years for the vapor to circulate up to the mesosphere where NLCs form. Water is a key ingredient for NLCs, so Tonga’s moisture could be turbocharging the clouds
Second is SpaceX. Studies show that water-rich rocket exhaust boosts the abundance of NLCs. So far this year (Jan. 1st – June 27th), 124 rockets have been launched, mostly by SpaceX. That’s 4 times the rate of launches during previous Solar Maxima. Quadrupling the amount of rocket exhaust in the mesosphere might be enough to overwhelm the water and ice destroying effects of the active sun.

NLCs ARE NOT BEHAVING AS EXPECTED: When northern summer began, the forecast called for few noctilucent clouds (NLCs). Frosted wisps of meteor smoke tend to melt away during years of high solar activity–and solar activity has been very high in 2024. Yet…
“This week’s NLC display not only blew me away, but I would consider it within the top two displays I’ve ever seen in my life,” reports longtime observer Martin McKenna, who took this picture on June 26th from N. Ireland:
“This was right up there with the jaw dropping displays I observed during 2009 when we had a deep Solar Minimum,” McKenna says.
Other witnesses agreed: “It was easily the best display in years, and I’ve been observing NLCs for 60+ years,” says John C McConnell of Maghaberry, N. Ireland. Kenneth Conlon of County Sligo, Ireland, described it as a “major outbreak, one of the strongest since 2019.”
These glowing reports came only two days after another outbreak of NLCs appeared over Paris, France.

What’s going on?
It might be SpaceX. Studies show that water-rich rocket exhaust can boost the abundance of NLCs. So far this year (Jan. 1st – June 27th), 124 rockets have left Earth, mostly launched by SpaceX. That’s 4 times the rate of launches during previous Solar Maxima with 4 times more water being poured into the mesosphere. Perhaps this is enough to overwhelm the water and ice destroying effects of the active sun.
In the past 2 weeks alone there have been 7 launches worldwide. A notable launch of a Falcon Heavy rocket on June 25th immediately preceded the Irish outburst of NLCs on June 26th. Even leading experts aren’t certain these events are linked. One thing’s for sure: More rockets are on the launch pad, so remain alert for electric blue.
NORTHERN SUMMER BEGINS TODAY: The seasons are changing. This afternoon at 4:45 p.m. EDT, summer begins in the north and winter begins in the south. June 20th is the longest day of the year, or the shortest, depending on your hemisphere. Either way, happy solstice!
SOLAR MAXIMUM NOCTILUCENT CLOUDS: 2024 is supposed to be a bad year for noctilucent clouds (NLCs). High solar activity is warming Earth’s upper atmosphere and breaking apart water molecules necessary for noctilucent ice. Yet here they are:
“We observed a beautiful display of NLCs on June 15th,” says Harlan Thomas of Carstairs, Alberta. “They lasted for hours.”
So far, NLCs are winning their struggle with the sun. They’ve been seen in Canada and countries in Europe as far south as Poland.
But solar activity isn’t the only factor. NLCs form when summertime wisps of water vapor rise to the edge of space, forming a rime of ice around specks of meteor debris. Extra moisture pumped into the atmosphere by the undersea eruption of the Tonga volcano could be giving the clouds an edge. Interhemispheric teleconnections also influence the temperature and moisture available for NLCs.
In short, we just don’t know what will happen next. Weeks around the summer solstice often produce the most widespread NLCs, so be alert for electric blue.
CALIFORNIA STARLINK LAUNCH: Tuesday night in California, SpaceX ended a 10-day drought of rocket launches with a Falcon 9 liftoff from Vandenberg Space Force Station. Carrying 20 Starlink satellites, the ascending rocket was visible as far away as Arizona:
“We had an excellent view of Tuesday evening’s launch from the Mt. Lemmon Observatory (9157 ft) in Arizona,” reports Don McCarthy, director of the Beginning Teen Astronomy Camp. “The contrast of the rocket’s plume against the clear, twilight sky was excellent.”
Rewind: A “10-day drought?” No so long ago, launching rockets every 10 days would have been considered rapidfire. Now it’s a drought. SpaceX has changed the way we think about launch statistics. In 2024 alone, the company has launched 44 Starlink missions, bringing the total number of those internet satellites in orbit to 6,633. The next Falcon 9 launch is scheduled for June 20th from Cape Canaveral. The “drought” is over.
FARSIDE SOLAR ACTIVITY: A flurry of CMEs observed by SOHO on June 17th appears to be due to farside activity. Helioseismic echoes suggest there are at least two big sunspots capable of producing flares and CMEs on the farside of the sun. SUPERSTORM ZAPS GLOBAL ELECTRIC CIRCUIT: The geomagnetic superstorm of May 10, 2024, did more than spark some of the best auroras in 500 years. It also electrified our planet.
“Our sensors measured a significant change in atmospheric electricity,” reports Gang Li, a space physicist at the University of Alabama. “Earth’s entire global electrical circuit was affected by the storm.”

Yes, Earth has a “global electrical circuit.” It is created by thunderstorms, which build up a charge difference between the ground and the ionosphere 50 km overhead. (It’s far more than that-L.T.).
There are about 40,000 thunderstorms per day all over the Earth, and we can think of them as batteries pumping the electricity to the top of the atmosphere. The resulting voltage drop is a staggering 250,000 volts.
On its own, air is not a great conductor of electricity. However, cosmic rays from deep space ionize our atmosphere, creating just enough conductivity for currents to flow in response to those 250,000 volts. The very air you breath is thus electrified.
In April 2024, Li and colleagues published a paper in the journal Space Weather about solar storms and the global electric circuit. They described how CMEs approaching Earth can sweep aside cosmic rays. This is called a “Forbush Decrease” named after American physicist Scott Forbush who studied cosmic rays in the early 20th century. During a Forbush Decrease, fewer cosmic rays are available to ionize Earth’s atmosphere which, in turn, changes the conductivity of the entire global electrical circuit.
The CME that hit Earth on May 10, 2024, caused a very large Forbush Decrease. “It was a boon to our research,” says Li.
Li and colleagues checked two electric field monitoring stations at the CASLEO observatory in Argentina–a site they had previously used to monitor the global electrical circuit. During the superstorm, electric fields jumped 10% to 15%, an increase that lasted for more than four days. “This is in good accord with what we would have predicted based on our paper,” he says.
Such changes in atmospheric electricity can affect many things, ranging from the probability of rain and lightning to the flight paths of ballooning spiders, which ride electric fields through the air.
