Holding together produces success. High-level teamwork is achieved when the right players, on the right team, share a clear goal at the right time. A team forms its relationships in a delicate manner; chemistry is brewed in the vat of shared experience. A strong sense of unity and wholehearted commitment is required for team success.
All successful teams have a shared vision and a good leader. If its leader can rise to the challenge, the team will prosper. In political and business affairs, just as in basketball, it is hard to win without a strong center.
Accept the structure of the team if you wish to receive its benefits; otherwise, go off on your own. In holding together with others, cling to your own principles, but be willing to subordinate personal desires when they compromise the good of the group. If you would like to become a leader, remember that to become the center of influence requires binding people together, which is a serious challenge and responsibility. Assess yourself carefully to see if you qualify for such a role. If not, it would be better to pass on the opportunity than for you to lead now, without proper preparation. In due time and with the right experience, you could still become a quality leader in the future.
The Destiny Patterns dimensionally
It’s important to process your past, make sense of it, and let it go so we can create a better future. When people don’t become aware of why they made the choices they did in the past, it thwarts a better future. We plod along each day repressed emotionally and unconscious, in denial about how we feel and why. We’re supposed to improve our souls as we go forward. We need to make peace with the past to do that.
In my case, I became frustrated when my son was little, in 2003, to chart my own path. My 4 Wizard brilliant autistic husband tried to be my director. I’m my own director, not a man. I didn’t have the energy to resist him raising a small precocious son and was pulled deeper into the Catholic Church karma. It wasn’t all bad. I could sink into my 🎶 music.
I had great success, did well, had a broad social and family life and was hired into a parish right away, just to have a rogue predator priest hit on me and bother other women in the parish while I was trying to practice BACH on the organ. I reported him, and he got caught and left the parish and the planet. I quit and decided never to work with Catholics again.
I wish I’d gotten a science degree, but I had the musical talent and the karma with religion. There is no more of that. I dissolved. And here’s my inverse, 4-day harmonic…

57:5.1 (655.6) 5,000,000,000 (billion) years ago your sun was a comparatively isolated blazing orb, having gathered to itself most of the near-by circulating matter of space, remnants of the recent upheaval which attended its own birth.
57:5.2 (655.7) Today, your sun has achieved relative stability, but its eleven and one-half year sunspot cycles betray that it was a variable star in its youth. In the early days of your sun the continued contraction and consequent gradual increase of temperature initiated tremendous convulsions on its surface. These titanic heaves required three and one-half days to complete a cycle of varying brightness. This variable state, this periodic pulsation, rendered your sun highly responsive to certain outside influences which were to be shortly encountered.
57:5.3 (655.8) Thus was the stage of local space set for the unique origin of Monmatia, that being the name of your sun’s planetary family, the solar system to which your world belongs. Less than one percent of the planetary systems of Orvonton have had a similar origin.
57:5.4 (655.9) 4,500,000,000 years ago the enormous Angona system began its approach to the neighborhood of this solitary sun. The center of this great system was a dark giant of space, solid, highly charged, and possessing tremendous gravity pull.
57:5.5 (656.1) As Angona more closely approached the sun, at moments of maximum expansion during solar pulsations, streams of gaseous material were shot out into space as gigantic solar tongues. At first these flaming gas tongues would invariably fall back into the sun, but as Angona drew nearer and nearer, the gravity pull of the gigantic visitor became so great that these tongues of gas would break off at certain points, the roots falling back into the sun while the outer sections would become detached to form independent bodies of matter, solar meteorites, which immediately started to revolve about the sun in elliptical orbits of their own.
57:5.6 (656.2) As the Angona system drew nearer, the solar extrusions grew larger and larger; more and more matter was drawn from the sun to become independent circulating bodies in surrounding space. This situation developed for about five hundred thousand years until Angona made its closest approach to the sun; whereupon the sun, in conjunction with one of its periodic internal convulsions, experienced a partial disruption; from opposite sides and simultaneously, enormous volumes of matter were disgorged. From the Angona side there was drawn out a vast column of solar gases, rather pointed at both ends and markedly bulging at the center, which became permanently detached from the immediate gravity control of the sun.
57:5.7 (656.3) This great column of solar gases which was thus separated from the sun subsequently evolved into the twelve planets of the solar system. The repercussional ejection of gas from the opposite side of the sun in tidal sympathy with the extrusion of this gigantic solar system ancestor, has since condensed into the meteors and space dust of the solar system, although much, very much, of this matter was subsequently recaptured by solar gravity as the Angona system receded into remote space.
57:5.8 (656.4) Although Angona succeeded in drawing away the ancestral material of the solar system planets and the enormous volume of matter now circulating about the sun as asteroids and meteors, it did not secure for itself any of this solar matter. The visiting system did not come quite close enough to actually steal any of the sun’s substance, but it did swing sufficiently close to draw off into the intervening space all of the material comprising the present-day solar system.
57:5.9 (656.5) The five inner and five outer planets soon formed in miniature from the cooling and condensing nucleus’s in the less massive and tapering ends of the gigantic gravity bulge which Angona had succeeded in detaching from the sun, while Saturn and Jupiter were formed from the more massive and bulging central portions. The powerful gravity pull of Jupiter and Saturn early captured most of the material stolen from Angona as the retrograde motion of certain of their satellites bears witness.
57:5.10 (656.6) Jupiter and Saturn, being derived from the very center of the enormous column of superheated solar gases, contained so much highly heated sun material that they shone with a brilliant light and emitted enormous volumes of heat; they were in reality secondary suns for a short period after their formation as separate space bodies. These two largest of the solar system planets have remained largely gaseous to this day, not even yet having cooled off to the point of complete condensation or solidification.
57:5.11 (656.7) The gas-contraction nucleuses of the other ten planets soon reached the stage of solidification and so began to draw to themselves increasing quantities of the meteoric matter circulating in near-by space. The worlds of the solar system thus had a double origin: nucleuses of gas condensation later on augmented by the capture of enormous quantities of meteors. Indeed they still continue to capture meteors, but in greatly lessened numbers.
57:5.12 (657.1) The planets do not swing around the sun in the equatorial plane of their solar mother, which they would do if they had been thrown off by solar revolution. Rather, they travel in the plane of the Angona solar extrusion, which existed at a considerable angle to the plane of the sun’s equator.
57:5.13 (657.2) While Angona was unable to capture any of the solar mass, your sun did add to its metamorphosing planetary family some of the circulating space material of the visiting system. Due to the intense gravity field of Angona, its tributary planetary family pursued orbits of considerable distance from the dark giant; and shortly after the extrusion of the solar system ancestral mass and while Angona was yet in the vicinity of the sun, three of the major planets of the Angona system swung so near to the massive solar system ancestor that its gravitational pull, augmented by that of the sun, was sufficient to overbalance the gravity grasp of Angona and to permanently detach these three tributaries of the celestial wanderer.
57:5.14 (657.3) All of the solar system material derived from the sun was originally endowed with a homogeneous direction of orbital swing, and had it not been for the intrusion of these three foreign space bodies, all solar system material would still maintain the same direction of orbital movement. As it was, the impact of the three Angona tributaries injected new and foreign directional forces into the emerging solar system with the resultant appearance of retrograde motion. Retrograde motion in any astronomic system is always accidental and always appears as a result of the collisional impact of foreign space bodies. Such collisions may not always produce retrograde motion, but no retrograde ever appears except in a system containing masses which have diverse origins.
6. The Solar System Stage—The Planet-Forming Era
57:6.1 (657.4) Subsequent to the birth of the solar system a period of diminishing solar disgorgement ensued. Decreasingly, for another five hundred thousand years, the sun continued to pour forth diminishing volumes of matter into surrounding space. But during these early times of erratic orbits, when the surrounding bodies made their nearest approach to the sun, the solar parent was able to recapture a large portion of this meteoric material.
57:6.2 (657.5) The planets nearest the sun were the first to have their revolutions slowed down by tidal friction. Such gravitational influences also contribute to the stabilization of planetary orbits while acting as a brake on the rate of planetary-axial revolution, causing a planet to revolve ever slower until axial revolution ceases, leaving one hemisphere of the planet always turned toward the sun or larger body, as is illustrated by the planet Mercury and by the moon, which always turns the same face toward Urantia.
57:6.3 (657.6) When the tidal frictions of the moon and the earth become equalized, the earth will always turn the same hemisphere toward the moon, and the day and month will be analogous—in length about forty-seven days. When such stability of orbits is attained, tidal frictions will go into reverse action, no longer driving the moon farther away from the earth but gradually drawing the satellite toward the planet. And then, in that far-distant future when the moon approaches to within about eleven thousand miles of the earth, the gravity action of the latter will cause the moon to disrupt, and this tidal-gravity explosion will shatter the moon into small particles, which may assemble about the world as rings of matter resembling those of Saturn or may be gradually drawn into the earth as meteors.
57:6.4 (658.1) If space bodies are similar in size and density, collisions may occur. But if two space bodies of similar density are relatively unequal in size, then, if the smaller progressively approaches the larger, the disruption of the smaller body will occur when the radius of its orbit becomes less than two and one-half times the radius of the larger body. Collisions among the giants of space are rare indeed, but these gravity-tidal explosions of lesser bodies are quite common.
57:6.5 (658.2) Shooting stars occur in swarms because they are the fragments of larger bodies of matter which have been disrupted by tidal gravity exerted by near-by and still larger space bodies. Saturn’s rings are the fragments of a disrupted satellite. One of the moons of Jupiter is now approaching dangerously near the critical zone of tidal disruption and, within a few million years, will either be claimed by the planet or will undergo gravity-tidal disruption. The fifth planet of the solar system of long, long ago traversed an irregular orbit, periodically making closer and closer approach to Jupiter until it entered the critical zone of gravity-tidal disruption, was swiftly fragmentized, and became the present-day cluster of asteroids.
57:6.6 (658.3) 4,000,000,000 years ago witnessed the organization of the Jupiter and Saturn systems much as observed today except for their moons, which continued to increase in size for several billions of years. In fact, all of the planets and satellites of the solar system are still growing as the result of continued meteoric captures.
57:6.7 (658.4) 3,500,000,000 years ago the condensation nucleuses of the other ten planets were well formed, and the cores of most of the moons were intact, though some of the smaller satellites later united to make the present-day larger moons. This age may be regarded as the era of planetary assembly.
57:6.8 (658.5) 3,000,000,000 years ago the solar system was functioning much as it does today. Its members continued to grow in size as space meteors continued to pour in upon the planets and their satellites at a prodigious rate.
57:6.9 (658.6) About this time your solar system was placed on the physical registry of Nebadon and given its name, Monmatia.
57:6.10 (658.7) 2,500,000,000 years ago the planets had grown immensely in size. Urantia was a well-developed sphere about one tenth its present mass and was still growing rapidly by meteoric accretion.

Katherine G. Johnson was a pioneering African-American mathematician who made significant contributions to NASA’s space program. Born on August 26, 1918, in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, she displayed an early aptitude for mathematics. She graduated from West Virginia State College in 1937 with degrees in mathematics and French, and in 1939, she became one of the first African-American students to integrate West Virginia University’s graduate school.
Johnson joined NACA (NASA’s predecessor) in 1953 at Langley Research Center, initially working in the segregated West Area Computing Unit. Her exceptional skill in analytical geometry and calculations led to her assignment on critical projects. She performed trajectory calculations for Alan Shepard’s 1961 Freedom 7 mission, the first American manned spaceflight. Her work was pivotal for John Glenn’s 1962 Friendship 7 orbital mission, where she manually verified the computer-generated orbital equations, earning Glenn’s trust. Her calculations ensured the mission’s success, including precise re-entry coordinates.
Throughout her 33-year career at NASA, Johnson contributed to the Apollo program, including Apollo 11’s moon landing, and worked on the Space Shuttle program and early Mars mission plans. Her work involved complex manual computations before computers were widely used, earning her a reputation for accuracy. She co-authored 26 scientific papers, a rare achievement for a woman of her time.
Johnson faced racial and gender discrimination but broke barriers as one of the first African-American women to desegregate NASA’s engineering spaces. Her contributions were recognized late in life: she received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015 from President Barack Obama and the Congressional Gold Medal in 2019. NASA named a computational research facility after her in 2017.
Her story gained widespread recognition through the 2016 book and film *Hidden Figures*, which highlighted her role alongside other African-American women at NASA. Johnson passed away on February 24, 2020, at age 101, leaving a legacy as a trailblazer in mathematics, space exploration, and civil rights.

My concern about disruption of our magnetosphere
Light comes from sound (a physics fact). So when the sound levels change, the light changes! The source of all light is the sun which all sound hertz levels have in common whether they are radio hertz or magnetosphere hertz -L.T.

Starlink satellites, operated by SpaceX, are designed to provide global internet coverage and orbit at relatively low altitudes (typically around 340–550 km above Earth). The question of whether they interfere with Earth’s magnetosphere frequencies is an interesting one, but there’s no clear evidence to suggest they have a significant impact.
The Earth’s magnetosphere is a complex region shaped by the planet’s magnetic field, interacting with solar wind and cosmic radiation. It operates across a wide range of natural frequencies, like the Schumann Sound Resonances (extremely low frequencies around 7.83 Hz and its harmonics), which are tied to the Earth-ionosphere cavity.

LUCY FLYBY OF EARTH TODAY: NASA’s Lucy spacecraft will slingshot past Earth today, Dec. 12th, for a gravity assist en route to the asteroid belt. At closest approach, the spacecraft will fly just 220 miles above the Pacific Ocean. NASA says that astronomers may be able to see the spacecraft at sunset in Hawaii (6:14 p.m. HST) with additional sighting opportunities in Africa and South America a bit later. Full Story.

POLAR STRATOSPHERIC CLOUDS: Arctic skies are filling with color–but it’s not the aurora borealis. A rare outbreak of polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs) is underway. Even Nilsen photographed the display from Troms, Norway:
“My favorite clouds appeared this morning,” says Nilsen. “It’s the earliest in December I have seen them here in Northern Norway. Fantastic sight!”
Polar stratospheric clouds are a sign of extreme cold. Normally, the stratosphere has no clouds at all. PSCs form when the temperature drops to a staggeringly-low -85 C. Then, and only then, can widely-spaced water molecules in the stratosphere coalesce into tiny ice crystals. When sunlight hits these crystals, they blossom with intense iridescent color.

BLACK AURORAS OVER ALASKA? Todd Salat is a veteran photographer of auroras in Alaska. For years he has chased the lights and seen most of what Mother Nature has to offer. But even he was puzzled on Nov. 22nd when these strangely-shaped auroras appeared overhead:
“I saw these bizarre auroras drift over south central Alaska around 4 am last Friday morning,” says Salat. “It came up from the northwest and I was like, whoa! It looked like the letter E to me.”
Salat may have witnessed an episode of ‘black auroras.’ They are dark rings or black blobs that sometimes appear in an otherwise ordinary expanse of aurora light. For example, look at Figure 1 in this research paper on the topic. Some researchers call them “anti-auroras.” The black auroras in Salat’s photo are circled here.
Ordinary auroras are caused by electrons raining down from space. Black auroras are the opposite. Instead of electrons raining down, electrons are propelled upwards back into space. Europe’s fleet of Cluster spacecraft flew over a black aurora on Jan. 14, 2001, and saw the process in action:

Sensors onboard the spacecraft detected strong positive electric fields in the black aurora zone. These fields reversed the normal downward rain of aurora-causing electrons.

SOMETHING FLARE-Y THIS WAY COMES: Yesterday, a sunspot hidden behind the sun’s northeastern limb produced an M9-(almost-X)-class solar flare. Today, the same sunspot is revealing itself, right here. BLUE AVALANCHE LIGHTS IN CHINA: This might be something new. On the night of Oct. 27th, Chinese astrophotographer Shengyu Li set up his camera to record star trails over Mount Xiannairi in Sichuan, China. The long exposure had just begun when an icy serac broke free from a hanging glacier. Note the blue flashes within the ensuing avalanche:
“We have not found any previously documented cases of such an event. This discovery is thrilling for us. It is also intriguing,” says Li. “Our initial hypothesis is that the luminescence may result from friction-induced lighting during the fragmentation of ice.”
The phenomenon is called “triboluminescence.” Legendary physicist Richard Feynman describes it effectively. He said, “Take a lump of sugar. Crush it with a pair of pliers in the dark. You can see a bluish flash.”Some other crystals do that too. Nobody knows why.” You can create triboluminescent flashes yourself by smashing Lifesavers.
The avalanche Li witnessed was rich in ice. “A blocky serac started it,” says Carson Reid, a mountaineer who analyzed Li’s movie. “It randomly calved from a glacier near the mountain’s peak.” “The serac would have fragmented as it tumbled down and smashed into natural obstacles.” The most significant “smash points” seem to have produced the most blue light.
Li shared his movie with other astrophographers in China. One of them found a similar blue flash in footage of a completely different mountain in Xinjiang, China three weeks earlier:
“This is a timelapse video taken by Ms. Lu Miao on Oct. 3rd,” says Li. “It also shows a blue flash during an avalanche.” The mountain is Muztagh Ata, which means “Iceberg Father” in English.
“None of us photographers noticed the blue light with our naked eyes. We discovered it later when reviewing the photos,” says Li. “However, I asked some friends who frequently photograph snow-capped mountains. One of them mentioned seeing blue light with the naked eye during an avalanche. They didn’t capture it on camera.”

SOUTH POLE RADIO BLACKOUT: For the 7th day in a row, energetic protons (+) charge from the sun are raining down on Earth. It’s an almost S1-class radiation storm, resulting from the collective action of three X-class solar flares since Oct. 24th. These protons are causing a shortwave radio blackout inside the Antarctic Circle:
The red zones show where shortwave radio transmissions are strongly damped by atmospheric ionization. Why south? Because it’s spring in the southern hemisphere, The South Pole is tipped toward the sun and intercepting more solar protons. Almost all of Antarctica is therefore under blackout conditions.

However, we’re heading toward a Mercury-Mars square, exact early tomorrow, that can be agitating. With this aspect influencing the day, we should watch for hasty communications and skipping steps. We can find ourselves too quickly in disagreement, likely because we’re communicating ineffectively or impatiently. For example, we may compete for the floor when expressing our ideas. This makes it difficult to engage in healthy dialogue. However, it’s a strong aspect for agitating enough things that we’re asking questions.

A CME (coronal mass ejection) hurled into space by yesterday’s X4.5-class solar flare will graze Earth on Sept. 16th, according to a NASA model. NOAA forecasters are predicting a strong G3-class geomagnetic storm when the CME arrives. During G3 storms, auroras can sometimes be seen with the naked eye from mid-latitudes–e.g., as far south as California, Missouri and Colorado in the USA. SIGNIFICANT X-CLASS SOLAR FLARE: New sunspot AR3825 erupted on Sept. 14th, producing a very strong X4.5-class solar flare. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded the extreme ultraviolet flash:

Radiation from the flare ionized the top of Earth’s atmosphere. This resulted in a deep shortwave radio blackout over South America and the mid-Atlantic Ocean: map. Ham radio operators and mariners may have noticed loss of signal at frequencies below 30 MHz. This could have lasted for as much as 30 minutes after the flare’s peak (1529 UTC).

EARTH’S RING CURRENT IS LEAKING: During the strong (G3) geomagnetic storm of Sept. 12th, Jeffery Dixon looked up from the Agawa Bay in Ontario, Canada. He saw a red band stretching across the sky. It was a sign that Earth’s ring current had sprung a leak:
“I’m not sure if it was aurora, STEVE or airglow,” says Dixon.
Actually, none of the above. Dixon photographed an SAR arc. SAR arcs were discovered in 1956 at the beginning of the Space Age. At first, researchers didn’t know what they were and unwittingly gave them a misleading name: “Stable Auroral Red arcs.” However, they are not auroras; the red glow comes from Earth’s ring current system.
Yes, Earth has rings. Unlike Saturn’s rings, which are vast disks of glittering ice, Earth’s rings are made of electricity. (Ya don’t say! Sync with the Harmonic) They form a donut-shaped circuit carrying millions of amps around our planet. During strong geomagnetic storms, thermal energy from the rings can leak onto the atmosphere below. This leakage imprints a red glow among the auroras.

- This is our 4D Guide Power Yellow 3 Human mediated by Earth. SYNC. Today’s Capricorn Moon is practical and earthy. It harmonizes with Saturn, the Sun in Virgo, and Uranus, fostering a cautious yet open approach to progress and change. NOAA’s forecast model predicts it will arrive during the early hours of July 24th (around 0200 UT), potentially sparking a G2-class geomagnetic storm. FARSIDE CME PEPPERS EARTH WITH HARD PROTONS: Something just exploded on the farside of the sun–and it managed to touch Earth. Debris from the blast emerged in the form of a full halo CME, shown here in a movie from the Solar and Helospheric Observatory (SOHO):
Shock waves at the leading edge of the CME are accelerating protons (+) and spraying them throughout the solar system. Some of those protons are raining down on Earth right now. NOAA’s GOES-18 satellite is monitoring an intensifying S1-class solar radiation storm rich in “hard protons” with energies > 100 MeV.
Hard protons are good at charging spacecraft bodies, fogging their cameras, and causing reboots of onboard computers. Indeed, you can see a hint of the “fog” in the SOHO movie above. Each speckle is a hard proton striking the spacecraft’s digital camera.

SUPERSTORM TRIGGERED A MASS MIGRATION OF SATELLITES: Earth just experienced the biggest mass migration of satellites in history. On May 10, 2024, approximately 5000 spacecraft had to maneuver to maintain altitude, resisting a geomagnetic storm that was trying to pull them down. The event is described in a research paper just accepted by the Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets.

Thus, the Sun and Earth are the boss, not man-made tech, which I keep saying on the platform, but it falls on deaf ears.

“Most were SpaceX Starlink satellites,” says William Parker of MIT, the paper’s lead author. “Each satellite has a GNSS receiver as well as autonomous station-keeping and collision-avoidance capabilities. When they sensed the effects of the storm, thousands of the satellites made the decision to maneuver.”
The need to migrate upward was caused by a sudden increase in satellite drag. Earth’s atmosphere absorbed a huge amount of energy from the solar storm, causing it to puff up like a marshmallow held over a campfire. Tendrils of heated air reached into space and started dragging the satellites down.
“The superstorm’s peak power was 2.63 TeraWatts,” says Martin Mlynczak, who retired from NASA’s Langley Research Center a month after the storm. Before he left, he used infrared data from NASA’s TIMED spacecraft to estimate the amount of thermal energy dumped into the upper atmosphere. “It deposited enough energy to run my house for 10 million years (I average about 510 kWh per month),” he says.
Earth’s atmosphere has been heated this much before, most recently during the Halloween storms of 2003. In those days, however, the satellite population was relatively low (fewer than 1000) and there was no mass migration.

“The May 2024 geomagnetic storm was the first major storm to occur during a new paradigm in low Earth orbit satellite operations dominated by commercial small satellites,” the authors wrote in their paper.
Thanks mainly to the advent of Starlink in 2019, Earth now has almost 10,000 active satellites–ten times the number in 2003. When a fraction of them unexpectedly decide to change course all at once, satellite operators must scramble to track them, making sure they don’t collide. This creates a new and unprecedented risk for all satellites, even ones that don’t move.
It’s a problem that will only get worse in the years ahead. “Major storms are more likely throughout 2024-2025 during the peak of Solar Cycle 25,” says Parker, “and the satellite population continues to grow.”

GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH (G2): NOAA forecasters say that G2-class geomagnetic storms are possible on June 10th when a CME launched by yesterday’s M9.7 flare is expected to hit Earth. The CME is bright and massive; a direct hit would probably cause a severe geomagnetic storm. However, this will be just a glancing blow, so only moderate storming is likely. Aurora alerts: SMS Text
SOLAR FLARE AND HARD RADIATION STORM: Sunspot AR3664 just did it again. The record-setting active region produced another very strong solar flare on June 8th (0149 UT), hurling a massive plume of plasma into space:
This was an category M9.7 event, only percentage points from X-class. Radiation from the flare ionized the top of Earth’s atmosphere, causing a deep shortwave radio blackout across the western Pacific Ocean: map.
The sunspot is currently located in a region of the sun that is magnetically well-connected to Earth. As a result, protons accelerated by the explosion are spiraling toward us, peppering the top of Earth’s atmosphere as well as all spacecraft near our planet. Here’s an example of the effect this can have:
Every speck of ‘snow’ in this SOHO coronagraph movie is caused by an energetic proton striking the spacecraft’s camera. Through the fog you can see a bright CME emerging from the blast site. It will sideswipe Earth on June 10th.
At the moment the radiation storm is category S1 (Minor), several levels below the peak of the scale. It does not pose a biological threat to astronauts or air travelers.
Nevertheless, this storm is interesting because it contains an unusually high fraction of “hard” protons with high energies > 100 MeV. Hard protons are good at charging spacecraft bodies, fogging their cameras, and causing reboots of onboard computers.
